-JFK Airport ᵗᵒᵒ ᵈᵃᵐⁿ ᵉᵃʳˡʸ
JFK airport was swarmed with people all trying to get from point A to point B. Anna found herself stuck in the crazy swarm with a giant decorated sign to welcome her best friend and her husband to New York. She stood outside the exit where Beth would soon walk out, her sign held high.
The hustle and bustle of airports always gave Anna anxiety, she would much rather be curled up in a good book or on FaceTime with her boyfriend. Another month had passed with Eli and the lads still on tour. The days started to feel extra long without Eli there but Anna knew she was just being dramatic.
"BETHANYYY!!!" Anna jumps up and down with the sign as she notices her best friend approach, Tommy following distantly behind. Beth's energy quickly picks up as she notices her best friend. "ANNABELLAAA!!!" Beth ditches her suitcase, running toward her best friend and engulfing her in a hug. Tommy lets out a scoff as he grabs her abandoned suitcase.
"Hi Tommy, long time no see!" Anna says, driving her attention from her best friend to her best friend's husband. Tommy looks very different since Anna last saw him. His hair is box-dye black and buzzcut, it complements his fair complexion very well. He has tattoos covering his arms which seem to have gained some muscle. "Uhh yeah! How ya doin' An?"
The duo went in for an awkward side hug, Tommy's energy was clearly off. "Um..good, good. Shall we get going?" The group put their luggage into a car Anna rented for the day, not wanting to bother with an Uber or a cab.
Once they were at Anna's apartment, Anna immediately helped them settle in. Anna's space only has one bedroom meaning that the couple would be sleeping on her couch. Anna insisted on helping to pay for a nearby hotel room (which Tommy would've gladly accepted) if it weren't for Beth wanting to stay near Anna as much as possible. As if she didn't want a moment alone with her husband Anna thought to herself before letting that thought go.
Mittens found herself very curious about the tatted man, not spending a second not staring at him. "What?! That stupid cat won't stop looking at me!" Tommy said hostitly while unpacking his suitcase causing a frown to form on Bethany's face. "Be nice, she's just curious." Beth stares at her husband with a straight face. Tommy just rolls his eyes are gets back to unpacking. Beth grabs Mittens and sets the fluffy gray cat on her lap. Petting her while sitting on the couch.
