Eli stared at his phone for the last twenty minutes, stressing at three in the afternoon. It was currently nine in the morning in New York which means that Anna should be up by now. Eli set an alarm to remind him when she'd be up so he could call her and wish her a happy birthday.

However, she wasn't answering which worried Elijah. He knew they were rocky terms right now, the boys tried to reassure him that everything was fine.

"She's probably too busy celebrating with Beth," Ryan said. How he knew that Beth was with Anna, Eli had no clue. He was pretty sure that the two hadn't spoken in at least a month. Either way, it did little to calm him.

"Mate, Why don't you get off your bum and let's go explore Brussels!" Rob pulled the covers off of Eli, exposing his pink unicorn pajama bottoms. He's matching with Anna. The lads all break out laughing at Eli in the fuzzy pink pants causing him to frown.

"shut up, I don't feel like it!" Eli says while pulling the covers back up. "Eli mate, you've at least got to come to lunch with us..." Josh says with a sympathetic smile. Rob is still laughing, rolling on the floor from the image of Eli in the pink unicorn pants. Eli glares at Rob hesitating to respond.

After a minute Rob calms down and Ryan helps him up. Eli's eyes scan his hotel room, his three best friends standing at the end of the bed with optimistic smiles, and his phone which shows three unanswered calls.

"...fine."

The boys cheer while Eli goes to the bathroom to freshen up and change out of the ridiculous pajamas he's wearing. After 20 minutes the band leaves to eat lunch at some local cafe close to their hotel.

"Hey Eli, doesn't this look like Anna with Timothée Chalamet?" Rob randomly says in the middle of the lunch. All the boy's eyes adverting to Eli as Rob shows him a very blurry of Timothée Chalamet with his arm around a girl that looks vaguely like Anna.

The photo was really too blurry and dark to tell. "Haha, that's funny. But Anna has blonde hair remember?" Eli says before going back to eating his food. Rob just nods his head however Ryan intergets.

"Actually, Beth helped her dye it back to brown..." Ryan says casually, all eyes now on him. A confused expression appeared on Eli's face, making him drop his food on his plate.

"Ryan, how do you know that? You don't even talk to Beth anymore!" This time Rob and Josh are the ones with confused looks on their faces. "Hold up! Ryan, you were talking to Beth?" Rob questions him. "Isn't she married mate?!" Josh continues. Ryan's eyes don't leave his plate of food as all of the boys look at him for answers.

"I've said too much." Is all Ryan says. Eli zones out as Rob and Josh continue to bombard Ryan with questions that they won't be getting answers to. Eli thought about the chances of that being Anna in the photo inevitably laughing at the idea.

Coincidentally Anna happened to wake up that morning at ten a.m. as the bright New York sun woke her up. Beth snoring right next to her, Anna opens her eyes to find a beautiful view of the expensive New York buildings. She looks around the room only to realize it's not hers. She did not have floor-to-ceiling windows in her apartment, that's for sure. She shoots up, confused to where she is.

"Good morning sleepyhead," Timothée says from the bedroom door, holding a cup of joe. Anna finds herself mentally freaking out. She had forgotten that she had met her celebrity crush last night. Anna made a note to delete the cringey fan account she made for him when she was younger, can't have him finding that. "...Morning..." Anna says with a polite smile.

Timothée tries to over her coffee but she declines, telling him that she only drinks tea. "I was worried that you weren't going to wake up, you were asleep for a while," Timothée says with a laugh. "It's not me you have to worry about, it's Beth," Anna says before turning her head to see her still sleeping.

"If you don't mind me asking, is she okay? She seems to be trying to forget something with how much she drank last night." Timothée sits on the end of the bed looking at Anna. "Um, yeah, she's going through marital issues...it's not my place to spill though..." Timmy simply nods his head understanding.

After their talk, Anna wakes up Beth and the two go back to Anna's apartment. Timmy tried to insist that they could stay for brunch but Anna insisted that they must go back to her apartment.

"Anna's having a birthday dinner at her favorite Italian restaurant if you want to come?" Beth whispers to Timmy while Anna is in the bathroom. "Oh Yea! That sounds dope, of course, I'll make it!" Timmy smiles as Beth hands him a piece of paper with all the details.

Before Anna can grab her purse and leave Timmy intervenes. "Oh! Anna, I almost forgot to tell you. Your phone was ringing a lot this morning." Anna checks her phone only to see it is once again dead. "Ugh, it's dead. Thanks, Timmy." And with that, the duo leave his apartment, still in their sparkly club outfits.

The two don't take long to get back to Anna's apartment, they take a train and walk the rest of the way. As the two approach her door, they see a bouquet waiting for her.

"Anna, what is that?" Beth says, still too tired and drunk to recognize what it is. "Um, it's flowers from Eli!" Anna picks up the bouquet of carnations and reads the small card with them.

"Happy Birthday Love, I'm sorry I can't be there with you. I promise I'm there in spirit. x Eli."  Anna smiles at the card, the moment being ruined by Beth. "Can you hurry up and open the door? I have to pee!" Anna's smile drops and she opens her door, Beth runs past her to the bathroom.

Anna goes to her room to charge her phone and say good morning to Mittens. As she sits on her bed, Anna can't help about the last 24 hours. When did her life get this crazy?
