The crowd roared as the last note of It Won't Always Be Like This played. "Thank you, Milan! We love you!" Lights flashed as the band did their final waves and headed off stage. "We did it, boys!!" Bobby says running off stage. After many months the band had finally completed their cuts & bruises world tour. All the ads were happy to get a proper break from touring and be with their family again.
The backstage of the venue was filled with good jobs and congratulations from the crew as the boys made their way to their dressing room. Eli felt a ting of sadness creeping you on him. The band would be going straight home, meaning that he wouldn't be seeing Anna. They texted briefly here and there but restraint was evident on both sides.
Anna continued to hang out with Timothee when she could. More paparazzi pictures would pop up online and Eli would just have to endure it. He so desperately wanted to be with her, to hear her voice, smell her perfume, see her beautiful smile.
"He's doing it again..." Robert whispers to Ryan and Josh as they see their friend zoned out in front of them. A big frown on his face. "Can you blame him? He misses her man," Ryan responds before packing up his bag.
"I know you guys are talking about me," Eli says as he gets up to pack his bag finally. "We're worried about you lad. Why don't you call her?" Josh suggests earning a huff from the pale boy. Even in his wistful mood he still looked charming as he ran his hand through his dark brunette hair.
"Because we both know it won't fix anything. We're just gonna gloss over the issue and pretend everything is okay." The boys look at their best friend with concern as he goes back to pick up his stuff around the dressing room. "I'm gonna go shower..." Eli says before leaving the room.
"That's it. We need to intervene." Ryan says as the door closes. Josh and Bobby look at him suspiciously as he pulls out his phone. "I think the best thing here it to buy two tickets to New York." Ryan fiddles with his phone as Bobby and Josh look at him with confused expressions. "Two mate?" Bobby questions him. "Yeah? One for Eli, one for me," Ryan says nonchalantly as he types in his card info. Bobby just nods, not questioning his friend.
"Ryan, why are you always intervening with Anna's relationships?" Josh randomly asks causing the smile on Rob's face to drop as he turns to look at Ryan.
"What?-" Ryan finds himself taken aback from the question, not expecting it to be asked. "Yea, like you intervened with Anna and Rob's relationship last year..." Ryan plays dumb, not recalling a single thing he was talking about. Bobby's eyes go back and forth between Ryan and Josh, gobsmacked by the new information he's hearing. "Remember? You crashed Beth's tea party brunch to talk to Anna..." A visible lightbulb goes off in Bobby's head as he connects the dots.
