This one's a fun one!
My little talk with Legolas was circling my mind and every since he left, I sat in my cell just thinking. His words repeating over and over again in my mind. Believe in yourself. I try to, I know I do but it's just hard sometimes. I want to believe, I really do.
I sat thinking for a long time that I didn't even notice the others have now woken up in their cells and have started talking amongst themselves. That's when I remembered, Bilbo. I wonder if he's still out in that forest. Maybe he's figuring out a way to get us out. I swear, that hobbit surprises me everyday. I still have no idea how he got out of those goblin tunnels.
"I wager the sun is on the rise." Bofur yells from his cell. "It must be nearly dawn."
"We're never making it to the mountain, are we?" Ori asks, sadly.
I sigh before a familiar voice speaks up, a voice that once again, surprises me.
"Not stuck in here, you're not." Bilbo says.
I gasp, standing from my cell to peak out. Bilbo stands in front of Thorins cell holding the keys I saw on the guard earlier. The others jump up in their cells.
"Bilbo!" Balin yells, gleefully.
The others chime in as I laugh, relived to see my hobbit.
"Shh! They are guards near by!" He shushes us.
Bilbo unlocks every single cell, one by one. When he does, a dwarf comes out praising him in the process. When he gets to me, he smiles cheekily.
"You are quite the burglar there, Bilbo." I complement him as he opens my door.
"Well, thank you very much, Y/N. I try to be." He says before I bring him into a quick hug. He sighs. "Glad you're alright."
"You too." I say softly, resting my head on his shoulder.
Once we pull apart, he pulls me with him down a set of stairs. The others were whispering about which way to go but Bilbo ushers them towards us.
"Not that way. This way, down here. Follow me!" He says, I follow behind him. The others hesitated but I gestured them to follow, and they did.
Bilbo leads us down some stairs, leading us further into the kingdom. How far down does this place go? I wasn't sure what plan he had but I trust him. Soon, we come up to a room that looks like a cellar, filled with giant barrels. In the middle of the room are two male elves, who are passes out, snoring loudly at the table. There are empty bottles surrounding them.
"This way." Bilbo whispers, walking further into the room.
We follow him quietly down the rest of the stairs to join him on the ground floor.
"I don't believe it. We're their cellars!" Kili exclaims quietly.
"You're suppose to be leading us out, not further in." Bofur says, angrily.
"I know what I'm doing." Bilbo defends himself before Bofur shushes him. "This way." He continues to usher us towards some empty giant barrels.
"Everyone, climb into the barrels. Quickly. " He tells us.
I don't question it and climb into the nearest barrel as the others argue about it, of course.
"Are you mad? They'll find us." Dwalin marches to him.
"No, they won't. I promise you. Please, please. You must trust me." Bilbo pleads with them.
Everyone whispers to each other, debating about it, as I peak out from my barrel.
