The dwarves and I got some well deserved rest that night, which I was very thankful for. We haven't gotten much sleep lately and it felt good to sleep in a an actual bed. The next day, we leave finally begin preparations for our departure for the mountain. The people of Laketown gave us some weapons, armor and a change of clothes, considering some of us were still wearing the wet clothes from the river in Laketown. We walk in a single file line towards the docks where the people of the town have gathered to watch us depart. I frown, wishing Bard and his family could have joined us. During our walk, Bilbo does a head count.

"You do know we're one short. Where's Bofur?" He asks, looking around.

I look around as well, noticing he really isn't here. I was about to say something but Thorin speaks before I do.

"If he's not here, we leave him behind." He says.

"We'll have to. If we're to find the door before nightfall, we can risk no more delays." Balin puts in his input. I sigh, having no other choice.

With that said, we all continue our way to the boat, the crowd cheering as we pass by. I bring up the rear, wearing some clothes the women offered to me since some of their armor was made for men. I have a red corset, new black pants and black hunting boots. A red jacket that flowed down my back, stopping right at the knee and fingerless gloves. I had my hair down, no longer in the braid I've had in this whole journey. The corset was a bit tight around the chest area, causing my breasts to pushed together making cleavage.

As I walk by some of the towns people, some stare at me in awe and fascination, others gaze as if a goddess is walking amongst them. And of course, some of the men seem to be in a trance, drooling a bit as well.

Gross.

The Dwarves pack up the boat with my help here and there. I can't help but feel happy for them. We're this close to the mountain, after everything we've been through. And to think, we will be at Erebor by this time tomorrow. I wonder what it's like there. Is it as great as Gandalf told me it was? I stop helping for a second to look around at the dwarves around me. They've been through so much, and have come so far. I look over to my right seeing Thorin stop Kili from getting on the boat, who looks even more paler than before.

"Not you." Kili looks to him, confused. "We must travel at speed. You'll only slow us down." He tells him.

"What are you talking about? I'm coming with you." Kili asks, thinking it's a joke, but I don't have to read minds to know that he's not.

"Not now." Thorin shakes his head, letting him know that he's serious.

Kili frowns, as Fili watches from the boat. "I'm going to be there when that door is opened. When we first look upon the halls of our fathers, Thorin." Kili pleads.
