Seungcheol and Jeonghan are having some dessert in the kitchen, when suddenly someone bursts through the double doors.

The two flinch, with Seungcheol almost cursing. "Channie, baby, you scared us." Jeonghan picks his son up and sets him down on his lap.

Chan looks at his parents, apologetic. "Sorry, but this is serious!" He puts his arms up to emphasize his point, looking up at Jeonghan.

Seungcheol sips his coffee, smiling softly at his son's actions. "What's so important then? I'm curious now." He says, putting his mug back down on the table.

Chan looks at his dad. "You know Kwanie and Vernon, right?" Both nod at his question. "Well.. I think that Kwanie likes Vernon!" Jeonghan looks over at his husband and smiles.

"Oh really? How do you know that, Channie?" Seungcheol asks, amused. "I saw him make a card and it said "I love you" on it! It's serious! They will get married and forget about me!"

Jeonghan squeezes his son making him whine and reiterate how serious this matter is to him. "Honey, people love each other. We love you, but we're not going to marry you."

Chan pouts and crosses his arms. "Daddy! This is different! You are my dads, not my friends!"

Seungcheol gets up from his seat and goes around to the other side, to sit beside them. "Sweetheart, even if they do like each other, they won't leave you. You'll always be the bestest friends ever. I promise." Chan looks at him with wide innocent eyes.

"Really? They won't leave me?" He glaces back at Jeonghan, looking for any sign of assurance. Jeonghan nods and hugs him tightly.

"They love you too much, honey. You're all inseparable."

Chan sniffles and nods, leaning into Jeonghan, his small hands clasping his dad's shirt. "Ok..."

Just as Chan is about to go back to his room, the doorbell rings. Jeonghan looks at Seungcheol. "That must be Seungkwan and Vernon," he says with a soft smile on his face. "Why don't we go and let them in, sweetheart?"

Chan hesitates but eventually nods, sliding off Jeonghan's lap. Seungcheol ruffles his hair gently.

Together, the three walk to the front door, where Seungkwan and Vernon are waiting excitedly. "Hello!" Seungkwan waves, nudging Vernon to do the same.

"Hi you two! Come on in," Seungcheol says with a welcoming smile. "Im surprised your parents didn't wait for you." He kneels down to question them. "They were in a hurry. Daddy drove us here." Seungkwan says as he smiles, looking at Seungcheol.

"Oh, you took Vernon with you guys, huh?" The two nod.

Seungcheol, then, notices Chan hanging back a little and gives him a reassuring nod. "Why don't you guys head to the playroom? We'll bring some snacks in a bit."

The boys run off, with Chan trailing behind. Jeonghan and Seungcheol look over at each other, making eye contact- slightly concerned for their son.

In the playroom, the three boys are having fun, playing with Lego. At first, everything seems fine, but as they continued playing Chan's insecurities begin to surface. Seungkwan and Vernon are laughing and teasing each other, while Chan feels left out.

The final straw comes when Seungkwan sides with Vernon on who won the game. "See, I told you Vernon won that round, Chan!"

Chan's eyes well up with tears, feeling overwhelmed. "You always side with Vernon!" he cries out, his voice breaking. "You don't care about me anymore!"

Seungkwan and Vernon look at Chan with shock and confusion on their face. Chan quickly turns and runs out of the room, heading straight for the kitchen where Seungcheol and Jeonghan are preparing snacks.

"Channie?" Jeonghan sets down the plate and rushes over to him. "What happened?"

Chan sobs, throwing himself into Jeonghan's arms. "They don't care about me anymore! They're going to forget about me because they like each other more!" Seungcheol kneels down beside them, rubbing Chan's back.

"Sweetheart, sometimes friends can get caught up in their own things, but that doesn't mean they don't care about you. Why don't we all go back and talk to them about how you're feeling?"

Chan hesitates but nods, sniffling. Together, they walk back to the playroom, where Seungkwan and Vernon are waiting, looking guilty and concerned.

"Chan, we're really sorry," Vernon says, fiddling with the string of his hoodie. "We didn't mean to make you feel left out."

"Yeah, we we're sorry." Seungkwan adds, his voice trembling slightly.

Jeonghan nudges Chan to speak. Taking a deep breath, Chan looks at his friends. "I just felt like you two care more about each other... and I got scared you didn't like me anymore."

Seungkwan and Vernon exchange a look and then both hug Chan tightly. "We're really sorry, Chan. You're our best friend. We promise we won't leave you," Seungkwan says, pouting as his lips trembled.

Vernon nods. "You're the bestest friend, Channie! We love you."

Chan sniffles. "I love you too."

Seungcheol and Jeonghan smile, happy to see the three making up. "Alright, who's ready for some snacks?" Seungcheol asks, wanting to lift the mood.

The three best friends race to the kitchen, hand in hand, happy as can be.
