The office party was lively, with laughter and clinking glasses filling the expensive dining hall. Diamond Co. has become a major company in South Korea. It had unexpectedly become a staple in the finance industry. So, it had a lot to celebrate: a significant revenue increase and the monumental 25th anniversary since its establishment.

Soonyoung and Seungcheol stood side by side, exchanging their usual office humor. Occasionally raising their glasses in toast.

Soonyoung, you've had enough," Seungcheol said, eyeing the empty glasses in front of him. Soonyoung isn't a light drinker, but it's very obvious when he's starting to feel the alcohol kick in.

Soonyoung waved him off with a grin, his cheeks flushed from the alcohol. "Come on, it's a celebration! Lighten up a little." He lightly punched Seungcheol's shoulder.

Seungcheol chuckled but kept a close watch on him. He made sure that he didn't get his hands on any more alcohol for the rest of the night.

As soon as he realized that Soonyoing is starting to slur his words and walking unsteady, he pulled him away from the crowd of colleagues.

"Alright, party animal, time to get you home," Seungcheol said, wrapping an arm around Soonyoung to steady him.

"Ya! Seungcheol! You're no fun!" Said man, sighed and brought him to his car- after bidding everyone goodbye.

The ride to Soonyoung's apartment was filled with a mix of his drunken singing and Seungcheol's amused sighs. The city lights blurred past as Seungcheol drove carefully through the streets, Soonyoung slumped in the passenger seat, head bobbing to the radio.

"I am a queencard! You wanne be the queencard?!" Seungcheol rolled his eyes and turned down the volume of the radio.

That didn't stop him, however, he just kept on singing along- occasionally forgetting the lyrics and mumbling.

By the time they arrived, Seungcheol was practically carrying him. He managed to get Soonyoung to his bed, the younger man's complaints growing louder.

"It's so hot," Soonyoung groaned, already fumbling with the buttons of his shirt, his fingers barely gripping onto the buttons.

Seungcheol sighed and turned on the air conditioning, hoping it would help. The last thing he would want right now is a complaing drunken Soonyoung. But, of course, he still found a way to complain; as he shivered dramatically.

"Now it's too cold!" he whined, pulling the covers up to his chin.

"You're impossible," Seungcheol glared at him, adjusting the air conditioning to a lower setting and draping a light blanket over Soonyoung.

Soonyoung grumbled, eventually settling into bed and sleeping soundly. Seungcheol watched him for a moment, a fond smile tugging at his lips as he brushed a stray lock of hair from Soonyoung's forehead. He then went to the living room, where he collapsed onto the couch, too tired to be bothered to drive himself home.

The next morning, Soonyoung woke with a pounding headache and a dry mouth. He groaned, sitting up slowly and trying to remember anything that happened the night before. With a sigh, he headed downstairs, rubbing his throat with unease.

He froze in the doorway to the living room, eyes widening. There, on the couch, lay Seungcheol, shirtless and seemingly peaceful in his sleep. He stood there, in shock, finally remembering how he even got home in the first place.

Soonyoung's face turned bright red. He was unsure of whether to wake him up or retreat. His heart pounded in his chest, the sight of Seungcheol so relaxed making him feel things he didn't know he could feel.

Seungcheol stirred, opening his eyes slowly. He blinked up at Soonyoung, a sleepy smile forming on his lips. "Morning. How're you feeling?"

Soonyoung fumbled for words, his embarrassment clear. "I, um... I'm okay. Just a headache and dry throat."

Seungcheol sat up, stretching lazily. His muscles rippled under his skin, drawing Soonyoung's eyes. "Not surprised. You were off your ass last night."

"Yeah... thanks for helping me out," Soonyoung said as he cleared his throat; trying to stay calm.

"Anytime," Seungcheol replied with a chuckle. "Why don't you sit down? I'll get you some water."

Soonyoing sat down, still embarrassed about his behavior and the fact that someone had to deal with it. The fact that it's Seungcheol too.

Seungcheol is one of the most respected and professional people he's ever met. He doesn't even remember how they got so close, but he's grateful to have him still be around.

"So, about last night," Seungcheol said as he sat back down next to Soonyoung, handing him a cup of water. "You were quite the handful."

Soonyoung groaned, hiding his face in his hand. "Please don't remind me."

Seungcheol chuckled softly. "Don't worry, it's not every day we get to celebrate like that. Just try not to make it a habit."

"I'll do my best," Soonyoung promised, meeting Seungcheol's eyes with a small smile, flustered.

Seungcheol smiled back, ruffling the other man's hair. "Drink up, I'll make some hangover soul for you."

I could get used to this!
