Junhui and Wonwoo have been seeing each other for over a year now, but only became exclusive a few months back. It was a week before Wonwoo's birthday when they finally decided that they wanted to take things more seriously and they haven't looked back since.

They were an unlikely couple. Junhui not even being interested in talking to Wonwoo when they first met- as a friend of a friend.

They first met at a friend's birthday party. Wonwoo didn't pay much attention to him, so he did the same. But as they started bumping into each other more often, Junhui felt himself having a bit of a soft spot for the other man.

He later found out that Wonwoo felt similarly, when they happened to see each other at the same bar on a Thursday night.

They completely hit it off and everything was going great for them. They did keep things a secret, just incase they don't feel like their relationship would go anywhere, but it did.

So, they decided to break the news to their friends.

Jun, Wonwoo, Jihoon, Seungkwan, Mingyu and Jeonghan are out for a nice day at the park. Having a small get-together picnic; taking advantage of the nice weather that only comes once a week nowadays.

As Seungkwan was talking about how he hates his professor, Wonwoo cleared his throat- to get everyone's attention.

"Guys.. We- Jun and I- have something important to talk you." Jun's eyes widened at his sudden statement, sitting still with his sandwich half way in his mouth.

Wonwoo nudges him and he quickly collects himself, setting the sandwich down on his plate. "Oh yeah-! Very important!"

Everyone looked at each other, then at the duo, curious and confused.

Jun and Wonwoo took a quick glace at each other for reassurance and Wonwoo spoke up once again. "So... Jun and I have been dating for-"

"Knew it! Give me my twenty bucks!" Seungkwan yelled out, making the other three groan in annoyance- handing him bills.

"Fuck you," Jeonghan snickered, leaning against his boyfriend, Mingyu, with a pout on his lips.

Seungkwan stuck his tongue at him. "Nor my fault I'm always right." Jihoon rolled his eyes. "Guys, let them speak." He gestures over to the couple, who are now the ones confused.

"What's going on?" Jun questions. Mingyu speaks up and says, "We had a bet about whether or not you guys are dating- like a week ago- and Seungkwan was the only one who said yes. We thought you guys were just getting more comfortable with each other."

"Oh they were getting comfortable alright." Seungkwan mumbles, earning a smack on the back of his head, from Jihoon. "Shut up, fag." Seungkwan gasped dramatically and smacked Jihoon back. "I'm bisexual, you ass!"

Jeonghan huffs and looks over at Wonwoo and Jun. "So.. Who's the man?" Seungkwan and Jihoon stop fighting at Jeonghan's sudden question.

"What do you mean?" Wonwoo looks at the older, confused. "Who's the man in the relationship?"

Seungkwan rolls his eyes. "That's so outdated, Hannie. It's 2024, grandpa. They're both the man."

"Mingyu's the man though." Jihoon says as he looks over at the younger.

Mingyu shrugs, his arm now around his boyfriend. "It's not really important though." Jun and Wonwoo look at each other before answering. "I'm the man." The couple say in unison, making their friends burst out into laughter.

"I'm paying!"

"No, I'm paying!"

"You never wanna pay! Now you wanna?!"

"Yes! I'm the man here!"

Ever since the picnic, Jun and Wonwoo have been fighting over which one of then is "the man" in the relationship. Even though, they know it's stupid to be arguing about this, they're too competitive to not argue.

They've spent the past twenty minutes fighting over who's going to pay for their food delivery.

"We used my phone, so I'll just pay!" Jun raises his voice at his boyfriend, pointing to his phone as he does.

Wonwoo crosses his arms. "You paid yesterday. So I'm paying for this!" He retaliates.

Jun imitates Wonwoo and crosses his arms- resting his weight on his left leg, as Wonwoo is doing as well. "It was a bag of chips!"

"Family size!"

"That doesn't make a difference!"

"Yes it does! It's more expensive!"

"We can buy two cars right now if we wanted! It's not expensive, Wonu-ya!"

Wonwoo grabs Jun's phone and cancels their order. He quickly pockets the phone and makes the same order on his phone, paying for it as well.

Jun stands silently in shock at what just happened. "Oh it's on, Jeon Wonwoo."

As the month went on, the two got even more competitive to the point where they were fighting about how "manly" they sit.

Jun manspreads on the couch, as they're watching a movie- his leg pushing Wonwoo's slightly.

"Keep your leg to yourself, asshole." Wonwoo pushes Jun's legs away, annoyed.

The two sit silently, focusing on the movie, when Jun suddenly breaks the silence. "What are we doing?" Wonwoo looks over at his boyfriend. "I don't know." He pauses the movie that they were barely actually paying attention to.

"I don't wanna fight anymore..." Jun smiles at his words and pulls him into a hug. "Me neither. I miss just being boyfriends."

Wonwoo couldn't help but smile at his comment. "Me too, Junnie. Wanna get something to eat?" Jun beams at the idea and stands up. "I'll order!"

Wonwoo looks at him fondly. "Next time it's my treat." Jun nods and heads off to grab his phone.
