Dokyeom couldn't sleep, so he laid in bed, scrolling through Instagram. Suddenly, his thumb froze as he stared at the latest post that, his friend, Jeonghan posted.

It was a close-up shot of him and his Joshua, an asshole- in his opinion- at a rooftop bar, the city lights glittering behind them. The two of them were leaning in, smiles soft and close. His chest twisted, anger and something else that he refused to name bubbling up inside him. He threw his phone down, running a hand through his hair as he stood up. This had gone on long enough.

Jeonghan is his best friend, his constant, and seeing him drift into Joshua's orbit felt like something inside him was slipping away. He had never liked Joshua- too cocky, too smooth... He just puts a bad taste in his mouth. But now, with Jeonghan so wrapped up in him, Dokyeom couldn't shake the feeling that he had to do something about this.

Without another thought, he grabbed his jacket and headed for the club he knew they'd be at. He couldn't just sit around anymore, waiting for another post, another reminder that he was slowly losing Jeonghan to someone he barely tolerated. By the time he arrived, the line outside the club stretching long. He pushed past it, his frustration giving him enough nerve to flash past the bouncer without a second glance.

The music was deafening inside, making his stomach twist and turn, as he scanned the crowd. He finally spotted them by the bar. Joshua's arm was draped over Jeonghan's shoulders, and Jeonghan was laughing, his face turned up toward Joshua's like he was hanging onto every word.

Dokyeom's temper rose, and he stormed over, grabbing Joshua's shoulder. He forces him to stand up and face him. "We need to talk. Now."

Joshua shrugged him off, his eyes flashing with irritation. "What the hell, man?"

Jeonghan stepped between them, looking over in confusion. "Dokyeom, what's going on?"

"You," Dokyeom said, glaring at Joshua. "You think you can just waltz in here and treat Jeonghan like he's some doll?"

Joshua crossed his arms, a smirk plastered on his face. "Doll? That's what you think this is?"

Jeonghan glanced back and forth between them. "Kyeom- you got this all wrong- you're overreacting."

"Overreacting?" Dokyeom's voice rose, his frustration evident. "You've been glued to his side for weeks, acting like I don't even exist anymore."

Joshua looked at him with amusement. "Are you really mad about Jeonghan, or is this just because you can't stand the idea of me being close to him? Because if you wanted him so badly, you would've done something about it by now."

Dokyeom's fists clenched, his throat tightening. "Don't twist this. You don't know anything about me or what Jeonghan and I have."

Joshua laughed. "Oh, I think I know more than you'd like. You've just been too cowardly to admit it, haven't you? Too scared to make a move, and now that someone else has, you're just realizing it's too late."

Jeonghan looked between them, now frustrated more than anything. "Enough, both of you. I'm not some prize to be fought over. Dokyeom, if you had something to say to me, you should have said it a long time ago. And Joshua... you're not making this any better."

Dokyeom's heart sank, his anger faltering as he looked at Jeonghan. "I'm sorry," he paused. "But seeing you with him... it's driving me insane. I didn't realize how much until now."

Joshua took a step forward, his voice laced with a strange intensity. "Maybe you're just angry because you're jealous, and it's not just about Jeonghan."

Dokyeom turned to Joshua, the words catching in his throat. "What are you talking about?"

Joshua's gaze locked onto his, and in that moment, everything shifted. Without another word, Joshua stepped forward, grabbing Dokyeom by the collar and pulling him into a fierce, almost punishing kiss.

Dokyeom barely had time to process Joshua's words. Joshua's hand was firm. For a moment, Dokyeom was too stunned to respond, his mind racing to catch up with what was happening. But then, as if a switch had flipped inside him, he gave in, all the frustration, jealousy, and confusion pouring out in a desperate, almost reckless response.

He pushed Joshua back against the wall, the kiss deepening as their mouths moved together, fierce and unrestrained. Joshua's other hand slid up into Dokyeom's hair, pulling him closer, and a shiver ran down Dokyeom's spine at the feeling. It was like they were both trying to take control, to push the other just far enough, and yet neither of them was willing to let go.

Joshua's breath was warm against his mouth as he whispered, "So this is what you've been holding back all this time?"

Dokyeom's heart raced, his hands moving to grip Joshua's waist as he leaned in, his lips brushing over Joshua's again. "You've been driving me crazy, you know that?"

Joshua let out a soft laugh, his hands sliding down to Dokyeom's shoulders, pulling him even closer. "Good. Maybe now you know how I've felt, watching you act like you didn't care."

Something inside Dokyeom shifted at that, the weight of his jealousy dissolving into something else, something new and undeniable. He pulled Joshua into another kiss, this one slower, more deliberate, as if he were trying to make up for all the time they'd spent fighting. Joshua's hand found its way back up into his hair, tugging gently, and Dokyeom couldn't help the quiet sound that escaped his throat, a mix of relief and desire.

Joshua smirked, his voice a low murmur. "You know, I was hoping it would end up like this. Maybe all that fighting was just the buildup."

Dokyeom chuckled, a little breathless, his fingers tightening around Joshua's waist. "Guess we had to get it out of our systems somehow."

They stood there for a moment, the tension finally easing into something warm, something that felt strangely comforting amidst the chaos. Dokyeom glanced over at Jeonghan, who was still standing there, a small smile on his lips, arms crossed, looking both amused and pleased.

Jeonghan shrugged, clearly enjoying the scene unfolding before him. "If I'd known you two just needed to kiss it out, I would have done this sooner."

"So," Joshua's thumb brushing over Dokyeom's jaw. "Still think I'm just using Jeonghan to get under your skin?"

Dokyeom laughed, leaning in, pressing one last, soft kiss to Joshua's lips. "Maybe you were. And maybe it worked."
