JENNIFER'S POV.
FLASHBACK CHAPTER.
"Time to wake up honey," my mum says quietly coming into my room.
"Mmm I'm awake," I say rubbing my eyes.
"Good you excited for your first day of high school," my mum says with a smile.
"Mmm 50 50," I say sitting up.
"Ok well hurry up and get ready before brackfast gets cold,"she says shutting the door.
I quickly get out of bed and run into the shower after my shower I brush my teeth and get dressed into my uniform.
I take one good look at myself in the mirror before going downstairs.
"Oh my littek girl is all grown up," my dad says wiping fake tears.
"Stop it dad," I say giggling.
"Wow it feel like you where taking your first steps just a couple of days ago and look at you all ready in big girl school I can't believe it wait lat me take a picture of you,"my dad says getting out hid phone.
"Fine but this one doesn't go on your Facebook," I say warning him.
"Fine ok give me a big smile," he says.
I give a big smile and wait for the camera to click.
"Beautiful,"he says looking at the picture.
I hear a big honk at the front of the house.
"That's me got to go,"I say grabbing my bag.
"Wait you haven't eaten your breakfast,"my mum shouts.
"It's fine I'm not hungry anyway bye i love you," I shout shutting the door.
I quickly run onto the bus just as it was about to leave once I get on the bus I see all the seats are filled up all but one this little girl with hair as red as an apple.
"Hi I'm Jennifer," I say sitting next to her.
"Hi I'm umm cora," she says holding out her hand for me to shake.
I shake her hand with a smile.
"So you scared to," I ask her.
"I think everyone here is a littel bit scared all just have different ways of showing it," she says looking around the bus.
"Mmm ok so are you scared," I say starring at her blankly.
"A littel bit but i think thats how everyone feel on there first day of high
school," she says shrugging her shoulders.
"Mmm I feel the same way," I say looking out the window.
"Looks like we are here," I say grabbing my bag of the floor.
We get off the bus together and stare up at the big school.
"I thought it would be bigger," cora say looking at me.
"Really I thought way smaller," I say looking up at the tall building.
"Let's go in," cora says holding out her hand for me smiling.
I grab her hand as we walk In to the building not knowing if it would change are life's for the better or for the worst.
