Hello everyone!

I will already apologize for this chapter. There is not as much action as I would have liked there to be. Mostly because I hate that episode.

Don't worry, as soon as demons are involved I will be all in. Or at least I'll try.

I hope you still have fun with it! Thank you for reading!

Love y'all

The Winchesters weren't able two wait a couple days for Ash, the drunk genius, to do some work for them, without being able to work a case in the mean time. That's what Genesis figured out once she got back downstairs with Jo, both of the brothers hunched over a file.

At first she planned to hang out in the saloon until they would be back, but something wrecked those plans. And that something was Bobby.

Sam called him, telling him about the case and Bobby insisted they bring Genesis along as well. Of course he couldn't do anything about it if they didn't, but the three of them feared the old man enough to follow his orders.

Plus Genesis wouldn't give Dean and Sam her car. She might not like it, but that didn't mean she wouldn't let Dean drive it into the ground.

Once they had said their goodbye's to Jo and Ellen they crammed into the car, this time for a not so long drive. By now it was dark outside, rain was pelting against the windshield. After an hour Genesis felt herself getting tired. Blinking aggressively, she turned to Sam, who was reading through the files with a flash light in his hands.

"So what exactly are we hunting here?"

"Killer clowns" Sam muttered with an uncomfortable look on his face. Genesis didn't question it and waited for him to continue. "He left the daughter unharmed and killed the parents. Ripped them into pieces, actually."

"Yummy." Gen commented, trying to avoid summoning a graphic image in her head.

"And the family was at some carnival that night?" Dean chimed in from the back, sticking out his head between their seats, so he could be part of the conversation.

"Right, the, uhm, Cooper Carnival." Sam agreed, checking in the files.

Dean didn't seem convinced. "How do we know we're not dealing with some psycho in a clow suit?"

Genesis yawned, swerving a bit as she had her eyes closed for a second. "Sure. That's what this is." She didn't really care if Deans point made any sense or not, she just wanted to disagree with him. Being tired tended to have that effect on her.

"Well, the police didn't find any viable leads and the employees were all tearing down shop. Alibies all around. Plus the girl said she saw the clown vanish into thin air." Sam replied.

At this point the woman just pretended to still be listening. She couldn't focus anymore, barely seeing the road in front of her. The raindrops started to mix with her eyes getting blurry every couple second from exhaustion, turning everything into dark blue swirls.

The boys kept talking, but even their voices got mushy. Dean laughed.

Next time she yawned, Dean said something. This time his voice was clear.

"Pull over!"

"Hm? What?" Genesis turned to her right, where Deans head still was. He was looking up at her with a stressed out expression on his face. Did she drive over an animal? Miss a turn?

"Just pull over!" Dean demanded again, more pressed this time.

Giving up questioning, Genesis pulled over. It took her three tries to turn off the car and by the times she had managed, Dean was already out of the car and opening her door. Confused Genesis blinked at him.

"Get out." Raindrops were dripping down Dean's face, but she stayed where he was, making space for Genesis to climb out of her seat.

"What? No!" Genesis shook her head reluctantly. Rain was streaming into the car, so she tried to close the door again, but Dean quickly caught it. "Hey! I'm not letting you abandon me out here, just because you don't want to work the job with me!" She had no idea where that was coming from or why she was saying it, but at this point all sense was lost.

"No-" Dean sighed. He tired his best to sound calm when he spoke to the brunette again. "You are clearly tried and I don't want you to run us off the street or into another car. So please get in the back and let me drive."

That made more sense, even to Genesis. Even though she wasn't particularly fond of the idea of Dean driving her car, she out of the car. Dean followed her until she was in the back seat and then closed the door for her.

The car had barely moved and Genesis was already spread across the back seats with her eyes closed. She felt someone looking at her, but couldn't bother checking. It was probably just Dean, grinning at her, because she had listened to something he said. That would be a problem for tomorrow.

The Winchesters kept talking about the case, but this time the voices faded away quicker and only five minutes later Genesis was sleeping peacefully.
