"P'Phayu!" Rain whines, squinting his eyes as the harsh high noon sun attacks them upon reaching the school building's rooftop.

Only then does Phayu let him go and he turns around so that they're face to face. Rain suddenly shrinks under his gaze and mumbles, "W-why did you bring me here?" He asks while massaging his wrist.

Phayu shoves his hands in his pockets and replies, "Give me Prapai's jersey, I'll have Aon return it."

"Ha?" Rain nearly exclaims before feigning nonchalance and asking, "Why? I could just return it myself." But he quickly concedes with one click of Phayu's tongue. "O-okay."

Rain inwardly groans. He planned on using that jersey as an excuse to talk to Prapai again but now, he won't have that chance anymore. "Is that it? Can I go?" He mutters sulkily but Phayu answers him with a 'no'.

"From now on, come to the basketball court at lunchtime. My friends and I are there."

Rain's eyes widen yet again but he's more careful when he asks, "You mean, I can't eat with Sky and Som anymore?"

And he almost gets his hopes up when Phayu responds with, "You can...if you want them to keep getting bullied on your behalf." He adds and Rain's shoulders drop but at the same time, he knows Phayu has a point.

"I'm only going to protect you, Rain. Your friends are out of my hands." Phayu leans against the wire fence and asks him then, "Do you still want to eat with them?"

Rain trains his eyes on his shoes, wriggling his toes anxiously inside. "I...I guess not."

At this, Phayu nods his head as if praising him for making a good choice, then he continues, "Also, wait for me after school; I'll give you a ride home."

Rain's head snaps up to Phayu then and he protests, "But I can just walk home." He's thinking that at this point, he'll be spending all his time with Phayu. And maybe that wouldn't be so bad had he actually liked him. But he just feels like a prisoner.

Phayu pushes himself off the fence to stand in front of Rain again, eyes narrowed at the shorter male. Does he really not know or is he just being stubborn? Phayu sighs and tells him anyway, "I have enemies, Rain. And I don't wanna go through the trouble of saving you if you get kidnapped or something."

"K-k-kidnapped?" Rain sputters, his face paling from horror. But Phayu is the complete opposite and is calm and collected as he whispers into Rain's ear, "This is what it's like to date me, Rain. And since I already accepted your confession, there's no turning back. So just do what I say."

Phayu then pulls back, giving Rain a stern look then briefly glancing at his busted lip. He walks past Rain but then says over his shoulder, "Put an ice pack on that."

"Put an ice pack on what?" Rain asks, turning around. But Phayu has already left. "Put an ice pack on what?" Rain muses then suddenly, his hands fly up to cover his lips without actually touching them as they're still sore.

It's only coming back to him now, that Phayu had practically chewed on his lips earlier—in front of everyone! His cheeks burn at the memory and even more so, at the fact that—even just for a brief moment—he enjoyed it.

Rain looks just about to cry as he holds a piece of ice to his lips. Sky, Som and himself are at the cafeteria now that everyone has gone back to class.

"What happened?" Sky asks worriedly. "Did Phayu do something to you?"

Rain shakes his head, his eyes still blank.

"What then?" Sky presses him and Rain finally replies, "He wants me to eat lunch at their hideout from tomorrow onwards. And he wants to give me a ride home."
