There's been a scandal in their university for the first time ever since its establishment forty years ago. And everyone—or almost everyone—is talking about it.
Because it's one thing to leave school together, it's another to arrive together because that entails that you are coming from the same place and therefore, slept together! Well, not really, but in college, that's what it supposedly means.
And that morning, the infamous handsome devil, Phayu came to school in his bike as usual, except he had a passenger—Rain.
They seemed closer than ever too with Rain asking Phayu if he's okay and the latter later reminding him about lunch.
In reality, Rain was only asking if Phayu slept just fine, given he's quite tall and had to sleep with his legs bent in Rain's bed. And Phayu "reminded" Rain about lunch as a way of telling him he isn't upset about what happened anymore.
And they really only slept. But of course, who's gonna believe that?
And it doesn't help that Rain has a glow about him, the typical dread he's worn on his sleeve for days now nowhere to be seen on his pretty face.
As soon as he arrives in their classroom wherein he gets a few weird glances (but what's new?), Sky quickly pulls Rain aside and, of course, Som is with him; you'll find him wherever there's gossip after all.
"Rain, what the hell is going on?" Sky whispers.
"What do you-"
"You, coming to school with Phayu." Som enlightens him before he could even finish his question.
At this, Rain shrugs them off, making room to breath. "That? That was nothing." He states nonchalantly. "T'was my ma who insisted he sleeps over because she was worried about him riding his bike in the rain."
"Hm?" Sky hums in curious amusement. "You sound awfully unbothered. What happened to the Rain that refused to even let Phayu into his house? And I thought auntie doesn't know you two are "dating"?"
"She doesn't." Rain clears. "It's just...she saw him drop me off again and invited him to dinner. Then one thing led to another and he ended up sleeping over, okay?" He grumbles, trying to sound like his old self again.
Rain still feels embarrassed about the stupid idea he had the previous day. But somehow and even he is surprised that he isn't nearly as agitated as he used to be with Phayu. He doesn't know if it's guilt or gratefulness but he just feels somewhat indebted to him; he actually wants to be a good boyfriend for once or maybe just a good person.
"That's not what everyone's saying though." Som whispers to which Rain quirks a brow at him and asks, "What are they saying?"
"What else? That you two...went into a motel and did it."
"What?" Rain exclaims. "Who even-" But before he could utter another word, he feels all his muscles get frozen including his tongue as he and his friends get drenched in ice cold water.
Som shrieks while Rain gets his hair out of his face and shakily looks up to catch a glimpse of some students holding buckets right before they scurry off while cackling.
"What...the he-hell?" Sky's lips tremble and so does his breath.
And this is when Chompoo shows up with her squad, giggling like hyenas. "How's that for a wake up call, Rain?"
"You d-did this?!" Sky hisses but Rain steps in front of him, knowing their target is him and his friends just got dragged into his mess.
"Leave my friends out of this, Chompoo." Rain grits through clattering teeth.
