I'm an abomination, Rain thinks to himself as he stares at an invisible point in the middle of his desk. I like P'Pai...but I enjoy kissing P'Phayu. I should be put to death.
He's startled out of his extreme thoughts when someone taps his table and Rain's head snaps up to find Sky towering over him. "Oh, you're here." Rain utters blandly, following Sky with his blank gaze as the latter walks over to his own seat.
"What the hell are you spacing out about this time?" Sky asks, twisting his lips.
Rain swallows thickly. He can't exactly tell Sky what he and Phayu have been doing; that would just make him look promiscuous.
Thankfully, Sky offers his speculation then, "Are you still stressing because auntie found out about Phayu?"
At this, Rain claps his hands and exclaims, "Exactly! That...that's what I was thinking about." He feels guilty about lying but Sky wouldn't understand him; he doesn't even understand himself.
Is he simply going through an experimental phase? Is it hormones? Or does he...actually like Phayu?
Rain catches himself entertaining the idea and quickly shakes it off. He can't possibly, he likes Prapai after all. Surely, he doesn't have feelings for two very different men. He isn't that fickle.
"Don't think about that for now." Sky's voice pierces through his thoughts. He then leans across his desk and tells Rain, "Exams are coming up." Rain groans, thinking it's more bad news. But Sky is way ahead of him and adds, "And since we have some time later before our evening class, I was thinking we can finally have that group study...with P'Pai."
At this, Rain's eyes widen ecstatically but he contains his excitement just a tad longer and asks, "Did he agree already?"
"Mm." Sky hums positively. "We talked about it yesterday before he left for practice."
Rain finally lets out a thrilled holler and pumps a fist. "Yes! I thought I wouldn't get another chance. Thanks, Sky. You're the best." He purrs, clinging onto Sky's arm with the latter just typically rolling his eyes fondly.
Meanwhile, Chompoo has revenge on her mind. All in a day's time, she was "dethroned" from being the queen bee, the it girl. Not many knew about it yet but she knows how the system works enough to know it's only a matter of time.
With her underlings no longer following her lead and, worse, having dirt on her, she will slowly but surely fall from her perch. And all because she crossed a stupid boy who just happened to be Phayu's precious little boyfriend.
She bites down on her lower lip so hard, it turns white. And teardrops form at the corners of her eyes but she refuses to cry them.
And right at that moment, she catches sight of him. Rain is leaving his classroom with Sky and after a short walk through the hall, they're met by Prapai who then leads them out of the building.
And like some character in a twisted cartoon for kids, a sinister smile spreads across Chompoo's face despite the puffiness of her eyes. She just thought of the perfect way to get rid of Rain's line of defense and that's none other than Phayu himself.
Phayu is in the basketball court with the boys. But for once, they're actually doing some schoolwork with Phayu and Saifah serving as panel members while Aon did a mock presentation of his model.
Poor guy, Aon is sweating up a storm, creating puddles on his pits to which Saifah couldn't help but laugh. On the other hand, Phayu doesn't look happy and that's making Aon even more nervous.
"T-that would be all." He concludes, wiping his forehead with an already damp hanky.
"What the hell, Aon?" Phayu questions while Saifah continues to laugh and shake his head. He only stops after Phayu shoots him a serious look with his lush brows closely knitted together.
