KAORI was standing on a diving board overlooking a beautiful ocean.

Near the beach, the water was a gorgeous cerulean blue, the waves slowly crashing on the empty shore. Further on the horizon, the water became darker and darker, meeting the beautiful light blue sky.

It was breathtaking as Kaori enjoyed the scenery and listened to the sounds of the wind blowing, tree branches creaking and the waves delicately landing on the hot sand.

Perched on the diving board, standing so high above the ground, she felt like she would only have to lift her arm to reach the clouds. Kaori didn't want to leave this place that looked like heaven on earth.

"What are you waiting for, jump."

Kaori spun on her heels at the familiar voice, rolling her eyes at her best friend who was watching her with a daring smile.

"Please, don't tell me you're scared," Asuka laughed.

"Shut up, I'm not," Kaori bantered, "Can't I just enjoy it here?"

Asuka shrugged, "Yeah. It's been twenty minutes, though. And it's getting cold."

"You jump, then."

"Hell no, we're not doing that again," Asuka protested, "I jumped twice already. You, zero."

Kaori was kind of scared. She didn't want to admit it but watching Asuka jump had made her heart clench.

She blinked and the sky had turned grey, the wind was violently blowing and the girl was forced to hold onto the railing to avoid tumbling down.

"Jump."

Asuka's icy cold voice hit her like a truck and she refrained a gasp at the sight of her best friend covered in blood, deadly staring at her. The beautiful beach was replaced with concrete when Asuka pulled her by her hair and pushed her closer and closer to the edge.

"Asuka, please stop!" Kaori begged, using all of her strength to hold the railing. "Stop, stop!"

When Kaori made eye contact with Asuka, time stopped. "You killed me, now you die."

And Asuka pushed her over the edge.

When Kaori opened her eyes, the first thing Chishiya noticed was the large breath she took, her hand instinctively flying to her chest. She quickly blinked, visibly confused to find herself on a bed in a random room at the Beach.

Chishiya threw away the scissors he had just used to cut off the black tape Niragi had employed to keep her hostage before coming back.

The noise startled Kaori and she finally saw Chishiya carelessly dampening a towel and coming towards her, "Don't move."
