" so... that means no coffee for me? "
KAORI was planning on doing what she does every single day. Until fireworks and a strange blackout brought her onto a place where she would have to play some twisted games to survive.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DON'T HAVE HIS NUMBER?!" Miyuki's voice had echoed so strongly against the walls of the bookstore that Kaori jumped up in surprise.
"Girl, that has to be an actual joke," Saki cried out, exasperated by the news. "At this point, I'm starting to think you're a lost cause."
"Hey!" Kaori quipped, "What's with you guys acting like this is a tragedy! Chill, it's not like—"
"No, no! No chill!" Miyuki interrupted. "Girl, he stops by to motherfucking chat with you for hours apparently and you tell us you didn't give him your number?!"
Miyuki's final words were dragged out of her throat in such a dramatic whimper, Kaori wondered if she would be the reason that could make her jump in front of a moving train.
"Tragedy doesn't even begin to cover it!" Miyuki fumed. "No more waiting! Next time you see him, you give him your number. Don't care how, shove it down his throat, slip it in his pocket..."
"Write it on his hand with a sharpie," Kira jumped in.
"Grab his phone and create a new contact," Saki said.
"See!" Miyuki let out with her arms raised above her shoulders. "We can't think of any simpler ways for you to do it."
"Yeah, just stop being a pussy," Saki said.
Kaori was now looking at them in disbelief, "You're all acting like it's easy! I don't even know if he wants my number!"
Saki raised an eyebrow, "Please, no man comes over to chat without a motive."
"He never asked for my number!"
"Ugh, Kaori," Kira grunted. "We all saw how he looked at you last time."
"Yeah! Like a thirsty man," Miyuki said. "Boy wasn't slick with it either, undressing you with his eyes."
Kaori's heart jumped in her throat and she felt her body temperature rising at her friend's innuendo. She wouldn't have said Chishiya was watching her like this. For all she knew, she had always assumed it was in his nature to stare strongly like that.
"I know a man when he wants to do someone," Saki said. "Let me tell you this, he wanted to rip that skirt off of you."
Both Miyuki and Kira cheered at Saki's observation and they all shared a high five under Kaori's bewildered face.
Kira's expression softened in front of a visibly shaken up Kaori, "Look, what have you got to lose if you give him your number?"
"I... Nothing I guess?" Kaori replied. "I just... It's embarrassing to do shit like that. I... I don't know how you guys do it and not freak out."
Saki shrugged, "Worst case scenario he tells you he's not interested. So what? This won't kill you."
Kira nodded, "Also, we already know he's interested. He's been giving clear signs."
