Couple more weeks have passed, things are just going pretty smoothly. There are tons of work but they managed to get it done before deadline.
Dealing with raging consumers is a hard work. Imagine forcing yourself not to snap at their crappy attitudes? Minji isn't a patient person and working under the position ahead is IS A CHALLENGE.
Last client, same like the others, a pain in the ass. Minji finally succeeded on dealing with them 'nicely'. She took off her headphones and massages her temple, leaning back on her swivel chair.
Gosh, almost two months and she's glad she haven't gotten herself into trouble despite her short patience.
Another voice is heard, speaking so softly and calmly, she recognizes that voice all too well.
She shifts on her seat to take a glance and saw Hanni sitting on her chair, eyes in the screen, with a small sweet smile on. Talking over her microphone with a sweet and calming tone.
That is why everybody adores her, she's so nice and sweet. You can hardly see her get real mad, she does playfully acts like she's mad but no one has ever seen her lose her temper. She's so sweet like there's that invisible halo around her.
Minji stretches and stands up from her desk, ready to approach the shorter girl. Might as well as her to have a coffee break with her.
Her smile falters and halts her steps when a guy slid himself close to Hanni's desk, arms propped on her chair.
Minji slightly frowns and turns away, acting like she's grabbing someone on the desk next to hers.
She eavesdrops on the two,
"Hey Hanni, you done?""Oh hey, Jungwon-ssi. Yeah, I just finished talking to my last client. Why?"
"Great. Do you wanna grab a lunch or something?" Minji picks up a pencil and a sharpener, she inserts the pencil on the sharper and starts to twist the small crank.
She took a glance back and met Hanni's eyes, she immediately looks away and acts like she didn't meet her eyes.
"But Minji and I—"
"Y-Yeah?" She perks up and awkwardly turns around, holding the pencil and sharpener.
Jungwon looked at her too waiting for what she's gonna say. Minji doesn't know what to say really. Is Jungwon asking Hanni out? And what she's gonna say to that?
Just in time two girls and one guy approaches her and asks,
"Minji-ssi, are you free right now? Do you wanna—""Oh r-right Pham, I haven't told you yet, I'm going with them today, to make more friends." Minji said in haste which causes her voice to slightly crack. She gestures to the three newcomers.
Hanni raises her eyebrows and says,
"Oh.. well, okay then. I guess we can go then?" She shifts to Jungwon who grinned.Minji saw this and tried to hide her frown, she then says.
"Well, we gotta go on ahead now then."Hanni turns to her again rapidly and says with a cute tone, "Yeah okay, go. Let's meet later after work?"
Minji hums and then left first, the three followed after her. As she walks away she watches the two converse while laughing. This time Minji couldn't hide her frown.
'Does he like her?'
-----
After lunch break, Minji would keep seeing Jungwon coming around Hanni inbetween work.
So this guy was sent to their department and one of them got replaced, in short they switched places. That means, he'll be around Hanni from now on.
Minji doesn't like the idea but she's so hardheaded thinking that she isn't jealous at all.
