Chapter 26: After all, still human.

They only pulled away when the door slams open and a figure appears before them.

Haerin's eyes focuses on it immediately and her body screams for fight or flight.

Before them stood a tall figure with a handsome toothy grin but only it was pure with evil.

"Found you."

It all happened in just a blink of an eye. Minji found herself thrown to the floor, she winces as she sat up, her knees and elbows felt liek burning, there's diffenitely gonna be scratches on it. She lifts her gaze only for it to widen at the scene she saw.

It was an unfamiliar guy, big and tall but to Haerin, she knew the guy so well.

He had his big hands wrapped on her neck as he leans down at her struggling kneeling figure, he slowly forces her to stand up.

"Haerin!" Minji calls out.

Haerin places her hands on the guy's wrist attempting to twist it, or more like crush it but something is off.

She gave him a confused look and by this he grinned and raised his eyebrows as he spoke in a cocky tone.
"What's wrong, Vanessa? Not strong enough, aren't we?"

She tries again and he didn't budge at all, he only laughed at this and pulls her close.
"Stop! Who are you?!" Yujin yells at the unfamiliar guy who didn't even give them attention.

"Aren't you getting a little.. weak?" he says to her smugly before throwing her to the wall so hard that it caused a loud crashing sound and the wall itself got cracked. Her friends shrieked at that and yelled profanities.
"What the fuck?" Ryujin yells out, wanting to help the poor girl but she know herself that she stood no chance.

Minji was just like them, she wanted to help Haerin and so she stood up and ran to her side to help her stand up, just as she was about to pull her up, the guy, Mingyu got to her side almost in a speed of light and held hee wrist and threw her back. They all exclaimed again, Minji clashed with Hanni and they both stumbled to the floor. Yujin, Karina and Ryujin went to their aid.

Mingyu shifts his gaze from them to Haerin who is standing up and grabs her by her arm. He smiles at her menacingly and held out his fisted hand, he pulls it back before swingin it straight to her abdomen that Haerin swore, it was the most painful strike she's ever felt.

Her mouth fell open as a gasp leaves her pretty lips. It's like air got sucked out of her. Her body fell back from the impact. "Haerin!! Stop! Stop it!" Minji yells out this time, glaring daggers at the guy. She wanted to jump back again but Hanni is beside her with a scraped knee, result of their clash. So she held her and helped her up.

Mingyu pulls away and ran a hand over his jet black hair.
"It hurts doesn't it?"

She felt to her knees while clutching her stomach, she raises her head to look at him in the eye. Pain written all over her face.
"H-How?" she squeaks out and that sound, her struggle, everything that she's showing right now only amused him.

Vanessa, the monster that they once feared, the monster that never really felt any pain, is now kneeling down from an excrutinating pain.

He looked down at her and gave her a cocky smirk, she furrows her eyebrows as she tried to remember their brawl.

She pushed him out of the window where they both fell couple of flights down the building before he landed flat on his back. He was gurgling with his own blood, it started raining.

Mingyu lunges at her, he pushes her smaller form on the wall but despite him way bigger, she, without no struggle pushes him back and they both staggered towards the glass window and they both fell down, 12 storey down.
