Everything went back to normal, Minji's and her friends. It went back to normal.

But then again, what was 'normal' really like?

Mingyu won't bother them anymore, it's all just her simple life.

Minji would look ever her shoulder whenever she's about to leave the house. Her eyes stung upon remembering a fragment of memory of a certain gingerhead standing there looking at her with her usual calm face.

Minji closes her eyes before turning around, walking out of the house that reminds her so much of Haerin.

As she walked along the sidewalks, as if she's gone back to time where they would walk side-by-side.

The past her holding out a crepe for Haerin to which the latter gladly took. The girl took a bite on it and then hums in delight.

"It tastes good right?" she hears herself says.

Haerin hums in responses, cheeks slightly stuffed. Minji held out her hand and pinches it, she let her intrusive thoughts win.

Minji closes her eyes once more and sighs, she walked a little bit faster.

She stood by the bus stop and waited for a bit, the bus is just around the corner, once it stopped in front of her she lifts her foot onto the first step when a hand held her coat. She looks back and sees a furrowing Haerin.

"Didn't I told you to stay?" she sternly says, turning around completely to look her directly.

Haerin drops her gaze but still didn't let go. She twirls the tip of her fliplop a little.
"You can't go to work with me, Haerin!"

"But.. I want to go with you.." she heard her say in her small voice.

She took hold of her hand and then gently pulled it off her coat.
"Go back Haerin, I'm getting late." Minji says once more now with a little more raise in her voice.

The gingerhead just stood there, so she signed her to go back to which the latter did after staring for a minute or two, she keeps turning her head back to shoot her a look. That look.

That sad look.

Minji suddenly crouches down and started sobbing on her palm. "What the heck's wrong with her?"

"Shh! Don't mind her." the other passengers says but she paid them no attention.

All she feels at the moment is despair, sadness, and longing. She's been bottling it up for 5 months now.
It's been 5 months since that nightmare have happened.

But still, it all still feels like it was yesterday.

It feels like Haerin was just with her yesterday...

It feels like Haerin is just there waiting for her back home..

Minji didn't care about what the others would think of her right now, she's way too overwhelmed with the feeling. She cried like a kid, good thing she looked good even when she cries or else people will make fun of her more.

"Mommy, that lady is crying. Why is she crying?" one if them says, it's a kid. Accompanied by her mom who held him closely and whispers, "She's just having a hard time, baby." before shooting Minji a sympathetic look.

She stayed there, crouched down. She's running late, again. Maybe she should stay for a bit until she calms down.

The sun was set up high, ahead of swore, but suddenly it got slightly dim, is it gonna rain. She looks up and sees a familiar face looking down at her with a warm smile. She's holding an umbrella for her, so she won't get bathed under the sun for too long.
