Chapter 24: Who's it gonna be?

*knock* *knock*

A groan and shuffles of the sheets is heard, then a silent knock came again. The taller frame exhales and raises her head to look at the door with a groggy look. She yawns and looks over her shoulder to see the smaller frame next to her, still fast asleep.

She wipes her eyes sleepily and before she could even stand up to ask who it was the door opens revealing Yujin who immediately widens it's eyes then frantically whips it's head behind.

She mirrored her reaction when she saw who Yujin's with.

"It's been a while, Haerin. I thought Minji said you left the country. Anyways, I bet she'll love to see you! I think she slept over since Hanni isn't feeling well yesterday." Ahn Yujin chirps happily, in the morning she was greeted by a face of a friend. Minji's friend is her friend too, although not really a friend but Minji's girlfriend. The latter was asking of Minji at work but disappointingly the other woman was not around, but did say something about going to Hanni's place the day before so she had the idea that maybe the girl ditched work to take care of a friend.

She was more than willing to help Haerin since she knows exactly how down Minji has been feeling lately without the latter, seeing her would probably boost her mood up right?

Or in a different way?

"What the fu—" Ahn Yujin immediately stops herself from cussing and whips her head to Haerin who is had her eyes slightly larger than before, mouth slightly agape and if you didn't look closely you'd miss the crease inbetween her forehead.

She turns back to Minji who scrambled on the bed and off of it holding the sheets up her torso. She's wearing sports bra but her lower region is obviously not clothed. With her action, this also caused the sheets running down Hanni's bare back, this caused Yujin to look away and cuss mentally.
"H-Haerin, I can explain!"

Hanni slowly woke up by Minji's frantic voice, once she fluttered her eyes open she too, flinched and pulls up the sheets up her chest, looking at Minji then to the two newcomers. She fixes her hair in embarassment.

Embarrassed? She's feeling more than just that, she felt guilty. She can't meet Haerin's eyes.

She didn't even get the chance to at least spare her a glance when Yujin yelled at Minji who immediately jumps out of the bed and puts on her underwear and pants. "You stupid fuck, what the hell did you do?!"

She heard Yujin says once again to the hurrying Minji, striking her shoulder once then twice before the latter have finally gone out of their sight, running after Haerin.

Hanni kept her head held low, she heard Yujin sigh exasperatedly.
"You guys really have some weird shit going on.. Damn."

She didn't say anything back to that, more like she couldn't say anything back to that.

She was guilty, just as guilty as Minji. Why did she let her do that? She was being selfish.

"Haerin, Haerin! Haerin please!" Minji have succesfully pulled the girl's wrist and made her turn around. She was met with a very confused look of the girl. Minji sighed exasperatedly and ran and hand over her long dark locks.
"Look I—"

"I'm sorry Minji, I just. I didn't know what I was feeling.." Haerin starts, her face looks so confused and distant but her tone is slightly different at the moment.

"I suddenly felt like running away, I.. I feel this.. tremendous.. aching inside me.." she met gazes with Minji which causes the latter's eyes to shake and barely kept gazing back.

Minji eventually drops her gaze and lands on Haerin's small fisted hands, it was turning white. She heard her hiss and swallows a lump on her throat.
"I don't know what's happening to me, Minji.. When I saw you two, right there laying on the same bed.. Am I thinking of it the same way?"
