Chapter 8: New Girl

A/N: New girl, new girl, new girl, new girl girl~ Do you guys get it? For those who are not familiar with it, it's the joke that Minji made when a fan asked what name should he/she give to his/her new cat. But then this whole joke started on another older live with the members where they we're asked what the ETA meme is and the youngest, Hyein have no idea about it. Hanni even jokingly said that gen z should know about this. Hyein replied that she doesn't know it, because she's old, an old baby, earning series of laughs from the members. And that's where the first joke about this started, Hanni started dancing "New Jeans" but with different lyrics this time. "New baby, new baby, new baby, new baby~". Anyways~ haha to much blabber, let's get to the story. Enjoy~

Minji quickly tore her eyes away and yelps,
"What are you doing here in my house? W-Who are you?!" taking quick glances at the stranger's face before looking away again.

"And why are you naked?!" Minji squeaks out, she took hold of her blanket then reaches it out to the other. The stranger just looked at it and then back to her, took the blanket uninterestedly.

'I swear I didn't remember bringing someone home. I was drunk.'

'I got drunk..' Minji felt the corner if her eye twitch.
'I got drunk, I passed out..'

She felt a mix of embarrassment and frustration. Embarrassment because Hanni probably thinks she's a weak who can't handle a single glass of drink, frustrated because she doesn't know what happened next after passing out.

"Who are you?" Minji repeats, this time demanding an answer.

"It's me." the figure said in a manner that made Minji fall into trance.

This girl, infront of her. She looks familiar, her golden brown hair, her brown cat-like eyes.

Minji's eyes widens in realization, but she furrowed her eyebrows, there is just no way that...

The girl tilts her head and the corner of her lips slowly turns upwards, lips curving into a gentle smile.

"Haerin?!" Minji squeaks out, not really sure of it but she just said it anyways.

"Yes, it's me master." the other girl answered, ears perks up upon hearing her own name being called by her favorite person. She smiles with her eyes and Minji swore her heart swells at how cute the other girl looks.

But she shook her head and tried to put up a frown,
"W-Why—How?!"

Her question was ignored as the other girl approaches her and lays her head on her lap, Minji froze with her hands held up in an agitated manner.

The girl, Haerin, snuggled to her with an innocent smile in her face.

Minji have nothing else in her mind but thinkin: 'How in the world did this happen?' and 'how is this even possible?'

Minji was beet red, she have never seen a woman's body besides her own before and to say that she's so embarassed is an understatement.

She had to help the other 'girl' get dressed, now fully on her loose t-shirt and black sweatpants.

She immediately went to her laptop to search for any answers or explanation for this. The other girl, Haerin wouldn't even say anything else other than whether she'll get her food now or are they going out for their usual stroll.

Minji shot the other girl a glance and saw her eating catfood while dipping her head down. "H-Haerin, use the spoon please." But the other girl just gave her a confused look.

Minji grimaced and shifts her eyes back to the screen. Scrolling agressively. She gave the other girl a decent dinner but the latter didn't touch it, she tried once more and hands her a plate of catfood in which the latter accepts.
