Few days ago..
Inside a packed train, random chatters are heard. What Mingyu's men heard was a specific topic that caught their attention.
"Oh? How did she do it?! Wow, is this real?!"
"Maybe it's staged. We can't just believe videos on the internet these days.."
"But look at it though, it looks so real to me."
"Yeah.. it does.."
"But wait a minute.. oh?! Isn't that Minji?" one of the boys says, the group looked at the screen closer and even screenshots it, zooming in before they mumbled amongst themselves.
The two men looked at each other before listening some more.
"Yah, what's Kim Minji doing there? Does she know that girl?" the charismatic guy with prominent jawline asks his colleagues. They only recognized Minji since it's only her that got shown, while Haerin, only the too of her head since Minji asked her to bow down her head and had it covered with Minji's jacket. Now, the men knows her name. They immediately relayed it to Mingyu and the guy was more than pleased to know, little by little, he's getting closer to catching Haerin, or should we say Vanessa.
-----
Presently, two figures stared intensely at each other, unaware of the eyes watching them from a distance.
"You already have Haerin.."She turns to leave but Minji stops her again, held her by the wrist and spun her around to hug her. Their bodies flushed, they both can smell each other's perfume. They both take breaths in then out, it came out like puffs of smoke that dissipates on thin air. Hanni had her arms on her sides as Minji hugs her, arms wrapper over her shoulders.
"Do you even have any idea what you're doing right now?" She hears Minji opens her mouth to say something but nothing came out. Just clutches on Hanni's shoulders.
The smaller frame wiggles out of her embrace and glared right at her,
"Let's just forget this ever happened. I don't want to be a reason of someone else's pain. Haerin is a good person, don't do this to her."Then with that she left, and Minji, as much as she wanted to just make her stay and talk to her she knows Hanni is pissed at this point.
She then recalled all the things, the actions, the words that Hanni always showed her. It all made sense now.
But how come she's also talking to Jungwon at the same time she's giving her those signals? Girls sure are hard to read, even she doesn't understand herself.
She likes Hanni but she doesn't want her to get a hint of it because she's scared of her knowing it, Hanni didn't even had a single clue as well!
Miscommunications, all they ever had to do was to talk! Now look where it led them.
She badly wants to tell her..
'I liked you too Hanni..'
But wait a second, was it really already in past-tense? or.. does she still like her?
Minji sighed exasperatedly and ruffled her own hair, she looked up at the starry night sky, it looked extra beautiful tonight.
She huffs, picks up the plastic bags containing the groceries she bought before heading home with a trouble mind and a heavy heart.
