Damon opened his eyes. He saw the ceiling. He held his hands in front of his face. "I finally have the mark." he thought to himself. He sat up. As he did he heard the cocking of several guns. Now on alert, Damon scanned the room with his eyes seeing several Monitors with their guns pointed towards him. As well as their swords and knives drawn. Some had open palms facing him. "What's going on?" said Damon. The room was silent. Then he heard a voice "Don't try to play stupid you monster. Don't act like you didn't go on a killing spree"! Damon gasped and looked at his hands. "What spree?" he thought. Then remembered the carnage he had seen right before he passed out.

"Could I really have?" Damon thought to himself. "No, not possible. I'd never kill anyone"! Damon looked up and the door to the room slid open. A man walked through. He was tall. Definitely over six feet. He had brown hair and brown eyes. He was very muscular. He appeared to be in his late thirties. He had a full grown beard. "So, you must be Damon Archer!" said the man as he approached Damon. Damon nodded his head. "So you're the one responsible for massacring my men." he said. Damon slowly stood up. "No, I would never do such a thing". The man glared at Damon. "Damon, I am the leader of the Monitors. I am Overseer Rowen. I worked with your father for a bit back in the day". Damon stood in silence. "C'mon walk with me." Rowen said.

Damon, very nervously walked with him. "Sir! You can't possibly think taking him out of here is a good idea?" yelled a man from the crowd. Damon turned his head. It was Drill Seargent Reyes. "I must've really fucked up for everyone to hate me this much." he thought to himself. "He deserves to die!" shouted another voice. "Kill him for what he did to my friends!" yelled another. Damon, with his head facing down walked with Rowen.

The two, escorted by other Monitors, walked out of the room. They walked up stairs and to an elevator where only Rowen and Damon stepped into. "Where are we going?" Damon said. "To have a talk." said Rowen. Damon looked straight ahead "This is the leader of the Monitors." he thought to himself. The elevator door rang and Rowen stepped out. Damon followed him. He was in a hallway. At the end of the hallway was a double door with beautiful, elegant designs. They both walked up to it and Rowen opened the door. Rowen walked inside and Damon followed. It was a large, beautiful office. There was shiny black stone that Damon could see his reflection in that lined the walls and floors. THere was a fireplace with the Monitor logo above it. The furniture was black leather. There was a desk that Rowen walked behind and sat down. "Have a seat." he told Damon.

Damon silently walked over to the chair on the opposite side of the desk that Rowen was on, and sat down. Rowen sat forward and put his hands together. The room was silent besides the cracking of the fire. "Do you know what just happened?" Rowen said. Damon shook his head. "My name was called and I walked up to the stage". Rowen nodded his head "Yes. Do you remember what happened after?" Damon nodded "Yes, I drank my vial and closed my eyes. When I opened them-" Damon paused. "Continue." said Rowen. Damon contemplated telling him about the dream he had. About Dark Damon and Boston, along with the waterfall. "When I opened my eyes I was standing in front of Lucas with my hand facing him. There was so much destruction around us." Damon said.

Lucas shook his head and pulled a remote out from a drawer in his desk and pointed it at the TV that was above the Monitor logo that was above the fireplace. "What happened is you went into a fit of rage and completely destroyed the ceremony. You injured your friends and fellow recruits. Along with Doc Harrison. You even slaughtered more than a few Monitors." said Rowen as he clicked the power button. The television turned on and it was camera footage of Damon brutally attacking the Monitors. It showed Doc Harrison getting thrown across the room, as well as other Monitors dying. Damon looked at the face of himself in the video. It looked just like Dark Damon's from his dream. Tears streamed down Damon's face. He held his hands out in front of him "I couldn't have done this." he said to himself looking back at the TV screen to see him almost killing Milena. Damon shook his head frantically. "You killed several Monitors. You would have killed Milena too if I hadn't shot you with Moissanite you would've killed her.
