Damon woke up chained to a bed. "Where am I?" he said out loud. He heard the sound of a door opening. Doc Harrison walked inside. The door shut behind him. He walked up to Damon. "We really came full circle didn't we?" said Harrison. Damon looked away. "Because of you countless lives were lost. Including Rowen." said Harrison. "You have no idea what that fucker was planning!" Damon yelled. Harrison held up his hand. "Lucas, Silas, and Callista made it back a few hours ago. They told us everything. Damon calmed down. "Where are they? Can I talk to them?" Damon pleaded. "They will be in soon." said Harrison. "When they returned and told us what had happened nobody believed them. People were under the impression that Lucas wanted Rowen's job as head of the Minnesota facility." said Harrison. Damon made an angry face.

"I didn't. I knew Lucas wouldn't lie. That's out of character for him. So I snuck inside his office and snooped around. He wasn't even trying to hide his affiliation with the Precursors. It was all over his computer." said Harrison. The Monitors found me and attempted to arrest me but I showed them the computer. I showed them the evidence that backed up Lucas's claim." Harrison said. Damon relaxed. "Then we received reports of Precursor activity in the neighborhood your apartment was in and knew it couldn't be a coincidence. Once you killed Rowen the Precursors became docile." Harrison said. Damon sat up in his bed and realized he didn't have his father's necklace. With his eyes now open wide Damon yelled "The necklace"! Harrison put his hand up again. "Calm down, calm down. I have it right here." Harrison said as he pulled it out of his pocket. Damon reached for it, but his hand was restricted due to the chains.

"Why am I chained up?" Damon asked. Harrison raised an eyebrow at him. "You're really asking that question? You didn't see yourself. You didn't see what a monster you were". Damon looked down at his hands. "Was I really that bad?" Damon asked, looking at Harrison. Harrison nodded. "What are we going to do about the artifact?" Damon asked, pointing at the necklace. "Well, we were thinking...Since you were the one to expose Rowen for what he was, and also take him down, you saved a whole lot of us. So we thought maybe you would do the honors of retrieving the artifact." Harrison said. "But I thought that if you disturb the artifact, things become unstable." Damon asked. Harrison looked at Damon. "Damon, have you taken a look around you? The world is in shambles. We don't know how many artifacts there are, but we know not all of them are in their right locations." Harrison said with a laugh. "So, where is the artifact now?" Damon asked. "Well, you probably saw it when you discovered it was Rowen all along. We have reason to believe the artifact is at the asylum you were at." Harrison said with a smile. Damon, with a confused look on his face. "Perfect, I have to go back there. Where am I taking it to?" Damon asked. "We only know of a select few artifact sites around the world that are missing theirs. The nearest one we know of is in Tulum, Mexico." Harrison said. "Sounds like a vacation." Damon replied. "Yes, it does doesn't it." Harrison said with a smile. "We feel like we owe you. I talked to the higher ups and we agreed to give you a month of leave in Tulum. Congrats kid, you earned it." Harrison smiled. Damon's face lit up with a smile.

The door opened behind Harrison. Lucas, Callista, Milena, and Silas all walked into the room. "Hey!" Callista yelled as she ran over to Damon giving him a big hug. Lucas walked up behind her with a smile, and Silas walked around to the other side of the bed with his hands in his pockets. After Callista finished the hug, Lucas patted Damon on the shoulder. "You did it kid. You made me really really proud." Lucas said. "I couldn't have done it without you guys." Damon said with a smile. Silas coughed and took his hands out of his pockets. "Callista told me what happens. It sounds like if it wasn't for you. I wouldn't have made it out alive. So" Silas said while scratching his head. "Thanks." he said with a slight smile as he stuck his hand out. Damon reached forward and shook it. Their eyes met. They both smiled. Milena punched Damon in the shoulder jokingly and winked. "You did good." she said with a smile.
