Before he became Doc Ock Otto Octavius was a kind caring man
He originally worked alongside Norman Osborn in his early days at Oscorp Industries but with how Norman stole Otto's ideas Otto quit and started Octavius Industries. It was then he met Peter Parker (who graduated college at that time)
For the next few years Peter and Otto became very close in a short amount of time but after Otto tried his new mechanical arms the neural interface affected his mind and drove him insane
He then went after Norman but was defeated by Spider-Man and so Dr Octopus was born
