This is my take on everyone's favourite web slinger and his friends and foes in my very own version of earth 616. Also included are the many alternate timelines in the Marvel multiverse

Before you read this I just wanted to say I do not hate the story of this game or anyone who worked on this game. I enjoyed playing it but because of Sony rushing Insomniac thr story came off as rushed. I'm not saying I can do better than a game company because all I know this rewrite might not even sound that good in the first place
Note: the Saxaphone and the Flame missions will be cut from the story mode completely
The begining of the story plays out the same with the flashback from 2 years ago, Peter and Miles skipping school to go fight Sandman but it changes when Peter is drowning in the sand. Instead of Miles saving him it's another Spider-Man in a black costume with a white spider emblem on his chest. He calls himself Agent Venom and both Peter and Venom find something similar about each other but brush it off as the city needs their help
Sandman is defeated the same way as canon but Agent Venom leaves the duo without them realising and things play out normally again, after Sandman's defeat
Peter ponders if he's lost his touch as some of the civillians were hurt during Sandman's attack some even blaming him. He then gets fired from BVA, reunites with Harry and gets a new job at EMF
Scorpion and Mr Li get captured hunters but something changes. While their fighting the Spider-Men meet Kraven and he's able to beat both of them easily and captures Mr Negative
While looking into the Hunter hideouts Peter finds archived footage of Kraven killing some of his enemies like Electro, Vulture, Shocker and Scorpion which shook Peter to his core. While they were his enemies he never wished such a cruel fate upon any of them
Same as canon at Coney Island, but Spider-Man fails to save a civilian who's killed by the hunters which enrages Spidey. After being saved by Harry the same way as canon they find out each other's secrets
Things stay the same as canon until Peter leaves EMF and Harry's alone with Norman. They argue and Norman's upset with Harry for treating his powers like a game and claims that Harry is holding Peter back from his full potential. Harry's defensive about it however
Fast forward and both MJ tells both Spider-Men that Dr Connors is being held at the zoo along. MJ offers to help but Peter claims it's too dangerous the hunters would kill her with no hesitation. It wasn't like with the Sable outposts or the Demon gang.
Peter and Miles arrive at the zoo with Agent Venom helping them. Along the way Harry begins acting like a jerk to Miles while Peter goes to fight Kraven
However in the heat of battle Peter is stabbed by Kraven enraging Harry causing him to attack Kraven with Miles trying to stop Harry from killing him
Like in canon Peter gets the suit and we see a dream sequence where Peter see's events in his life and how he could be a better hero. After they all escape the zoo Harry says he's sorry to Miles and that the suit was changing him
Things go the same as canon until the Lizard chase. Spider-Man now in his new Symbiote suit is crashing throw walls, throwing cars, hurting people and even hurting a few police officers and yells at them for getting in his way
Again, same as canon until Peter's argument with MJ and Harry. MJ tells Peter that the suit almost killed her last night. Peter yells at her and calls her a liar and says she's trying to cover her own story with how she slandered him online
But it wasn't MJ who posted it, it was another reporter that JJ enlisted. He then goes onto to say the suit makes him a better Spider-Man
Harry then gets very angry believing that their friendship was fine until Spider-Man came along and yells at him for valuing the suit more than his best friend's life. Peter then yells at Harry and leaves
Peter then goes on a rampage, nearly kills Kraven, fights Miles, removes the suit all the same really.
While Peter's taking the suit back, Harry has given up hope at this point but Norman wants to put him back in the tank and they fight. After the argument Norman storms out and Spider-Man arrives but the Symbiote breaks lose and Harry becomes Venom like in cano
This is where you get a boss fight against Peter as Spider-Man, playing as Venom. But Peter is beaten and fleas into the night wounded. He then crashes in a nearby dumpster and goes unconscious Venom then kills Kraven and begins turning people into Symbiotes
No Symbiote city this time but he dose turn vulnerable bystanders into his minions and places Symbiote hideouts all over the city
Everything carries as canon but with some changes. When Spider-Man fights Scream, he retaliates becuase Scream places lies inside MJ's head making her say things that weren't true. Harry also dosen't have wings and can instead swing on webs and create webs
Peter gets the Anti Venom suit like in canon and shares that power to Miles and they both get their own Anti Venom suits
Peter, Miles and MJ must now stop Harry from turning the entire city into Symbiotes, when Peter gets Venom to chase him we get to play as Peter and must outrun him
The final battle has Peter and Miles fight Venom in the streets, then Midtown High and finally EMF. The Symbiotes then evolve into Anti Venom phase 2
To save Harry from certain death Peter gives up every ounce of his anti Venom powers to save his best friend and destroys the Venom Symbiote
Harry is then put into a coma and has a very small chance of survival which causes Norman to hate Spider-Man setting up the events of MSM3
After removing the Anti Venom suit from his body, Miles becomes NYC's only Spider-Man as Peter is taking a break for awhile but will return one day. Spider-Man also has a new suit that being the TRACK suit which is what he likes to call a "Miles Morales original" and proudly swings off into the city as New York's friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man
