Kriti's POV:

When we talked to each other for a while he said he had a plan which I did understand a little..but I wasn't sure it would work.

He told me to trust him and say yes for the marriage and I did so. Why did I trust him?

I saw mumma and papa were really happy when I said yes.

I zoned out for a while and came back to senses when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned to see it was him.

'What' I asked in a low voice. "Can you give me your number so that we can discuss further tomorrow?" He asked and I just looked at him for a while and sighed.

I gave him my number and Aunty called me.

"Beta, Thank you so much. You don't know how happy we are right now. God bless you." She said and hugged me. I felt bad for them...we aren't being fair to them...

"We'll discuss the wedding and engagement dates in the further days. Now, we should take our leave." Uncle said.

"Arey, Sun. Nahi nahi SUniye samdhi ji khana khake jana padega." Dad said stoping uncle.

"Some other days, Ritesh. We must inform this news to the other family members as well." Uncle replied.

"Nahi nahi, ese nahi chalega. You guys have to eat." Mumma said and took everyone to the dining hall. I helped mumma serve everyone and was going to sit next to mumma but aunty told me to go sit next to Kabir.

I had no other choice so I just sat next to him.

"Arey wah, the food is really delicious." Aunty commented. "Ji, Kriti prepared the food today." Mumma replied.

"Really, We're glad that we'll get to eat food cooked by her now." Uncle said and I smiled at him.

I wanted him to say something about the food as well but he just ate without saying anything so I too ate my food.

After eating, They took their leave.

I waved by at them and went inside. 

I legit fell to my bed looking at the ceiling. Gosh am I really getting married? I thought staring at the ceiling.

Mumma came to my room and sat next and caressed my hair. "Kriti beta..we didn't expect you to agree. Papa and me, we really don't know how to express this happiness. We could get our daughter to marry a guy who would keep her happy for the rest of her life." She said.

I just closed my eyes. I didn't want this. I didn't want to marry. Why did I say yes? I questioned myself and regretted saying yes for the marriage.

I just closed my eyes and unknowingly fell asleep. 

I was sleeping when Aarav came to my room. "Didi, wake up!" He said shaking me.

"Get lost and let me sleep." I said in a a sleepy state. I was tired as I had been working since morning today.

"Didi, I have to tell you something. I need your help." He said and I woke up.

"Kya hua?" I asked looking at him. He started scratching the back of his neck and said "Wo, there is a girl that I really like and I actually asked her for a date and she agreed..what should I do? Where should I take her? What should I buy her?" He asked in one go without a pause.

I just stared at him blankly and threw a pillow at him. "You just woke me up to say this????" I said hitting him with a pillow. "Dii please I'm serious." He said dodging my pillow.

Meanwhile at Oberoi Mansion:

"Damnnn Bhiyaaa I'm gonna have a bhabhi now?" Ayan screamed. "Congratulations beta." said chachi and she hugged me. "Thanks chachi." I said but without a smile.

Firstly, I didn't wanna get married and secondly I agreed to the marriage relying on a plan. I wasn't happy at all.

"Bhaiya, You need to have a grand wedding!! I'm gonna go tell my friends." Khushi said and was going to her room and I stopped her.

"Don't- Don't inform anyone right now. I don't wanna hurry." I said. I didn't want anyone to know about this thing.

"But why not?" She asked making a sad face. The wedding isn't fixed. We need to know each other...We need time." I said in defense. "Okay then." she said and went.

I too went to my room cuz I was really tired. I checked my phone and opened the contact list. I remember saving her number.

I thought about texting her to meet tomorrow but kept my phone aside. I didn't know when sleep engulfed me. 

I woke up from a nap and thought  about texting her. 

'Hey uh Shall we meet tomorrow?' I texted.

With that I went to the bathroom to take a shower. When I came back I saw she had replied.

'Okay.' She replied.

'Okay then Crystal Café at 1 PM' I texted and she gave a thumbs up.

I sighed. Will I be able to to this?

After she left me, I've never had any interest in these stuff. All of a sudden, Why am I facing this again...

Sorry readers this chapter is a bit short... I need to think about the further chapters. I have few scenes in mind which I would like to add further.

I am trying to finish this story as soon as possible with quicker updates.
