Author's POV:

After buying the rings, they were about to exit the jewelry shop when a bunch of media rushed into the shop.

"Sir, are you getting married?"

"Sir, have you been dating this girl after Vishaka ma'am?"

"Why did you and Vishakha ma'am break up? You guys were the gossip of the town."

"Is this girl marrying you for money?"

They asked simultaneously.

Kriti's mom got tensed because she's never had such exposure to media. Kabir didn't have his bodyguard around today as he thought he didn't need it.

"Please excuse us." Poonam, Kabir's mom insisted.

"Sir, you have to answer the question." Demanded a reporter.

Meanwhile, Kriti just  stood there trying to process everything, which the media asked.

'Is this girl marrying you for money?'

'Why did you and Vishakha ma'am break up?'

"WILL YOU ALL SHUT UP!!" Kabir roared.  Everyone became silent, just his voice echoed in the room.

Kriti flinched at his sudden outburst and looked at Kabir wide-eyed.

"It's true that I'm getting married. And about the other questions, let that matter stay private." He replied coldly and pushed everyone and walked out.

Everyone left the shop and sat in their cars.

Kabir's mom bid bye to Kriti and her mom and everyone drove to their respective home.

Kriti's POV:

The sudden questions from those people made my mind go crazy.

'And who is Vishaka...How dare they question my character. All I could feel was hurt and Angry.'

After leaving the shop I sat on the driver's seat and mumma sat on the passenger's seat.

"Kriti, leave it. These reporters are always like this. Kabir may have had past and don't let them control your mood. Don't mind them hmm beta." Mumma said patting my shoulder.

Without replying I silently drove to home.

Why do I feel hurt..I shouldn't feel hurt. After all, this is just a matter of few months.

I parked my car and straightly went to my room.

Kabir's POV:

Vishakha! Vishaka! Vishakha!

'Can't I just live my life in a normal way. These fucking bastards need to ruin my mood every time.' I cursed.

My grip on the steering tightened. My knuckles turned white due to this.

"Kabir, calm down. Don't mind them. Vishakha's topic shouldn't bother you anymore baccha." Mom tried to explain.

"Don't take her name." I said gritting my teeth. Then nobody talked and I silently drove home.

After dropping them at the house I took my car to where even I didn't know.

I stopped near a park. Nobody was there except for few kids and few elder people.

Sometimes I just feel like disappearing from this world. I sat on a bench and leaned on it.

It wasn't helping. I need to calm down. I tried to breathe in and out. I closed my eyes and tried to relax.

Then I sensed someone moving in the bench. I slowly opened my eyes and saw a kid sitting next to me.

He looked towards me. He had a lollipop in his hand. He took out another lollipop from his pocket and handed over to me.

"I don't eat such thing." I replied and he frowned.

"How can you not like lollipop. It's the best thing in the world." He replied and I just smiled at him.

How I wish to become a kid again, no tension, no stress, just a life full of joy and laughter.

"Why are you sad, uncle?" He asked looking at me.

"Because..." I said. Why am I sad? Idontknow. Because of Vishakha? Because of my past?

"Because?" He asking licking the lollipop.

"I just remembered a bad memory." I replied looking at me.

"Oh. Then forget the bad memory." He replied. I chuckled.

"It isn't that easy kiddo." I replied looking at him. Well, he is just a kid. He wont understand it now.

"My teacher says,  When you forgive you heal. When you let go, you grow." He said looking at me.

"Well, may have said it because that's her job to teach you kids some moralistic things." I said.

He furrowed his eyebrow.

"Don't say bad things about my angel." He replied and I widened my eyes.

"Angel?" I asked raising my eyebrow. "Yes" He replied with a grin.

"You know she is so beautiful, she loves me so much. When I am sad she always makes me laugh. She has soooooooooooo pretty smile." He said exaggerating 'so'.

"Can you tell something to your angel." I asked.

"What?" He asked.

"That, not every mistakes can be forgiven and there are things that is difficult to let go." I said.

"She says, only strong people can let go. That means you are weak." He said defending his 'Angel.'

"Yeah yeah, whatever you say." I said.

We chatted for a while and I got to know that his name was Vihaan. I too introduced my self.

"I think it's getting late for you, you should go to your mom and dad. They may get worried about you" I said and his smile faded and he looked down after what I said.

"Did I say something wrong?" I asked tilting my face.

"I don't have mumma papa." He said in a low voice. "I-I'm sorry. I-" I didn't know what to say...I just hugged him.

After sometime, he hugged me back.

"Uncle, I won't have family?" He asked while hugging. "I'm 100% sure you will. You are such a good-boy." I said patting him.

He broke the hug and asked, "Will you be my friend?"

"Sure" I said. "I really like you." He replied and I kissed his head.

I was never a fan of kids, but this kid made me realize that kids aren't that bad. Well, talking to him made me forget about my sorrows.

"Here, now as you are my friend take this." He said handing me over a lollipop. I took it from him and smiled.

"Offo buddy, When someone gives you something you should say thankyou. My angel said." He said and I shook my head.

"I don't know who this angel is but, Angel ji, aap ki wajeh se aaj mujhe gyan mila 5 saal ke bachhe se!" I said joining my hands and looking at the sky.

He just laughed looking at me. "Thankyou!" I replied.

"Vihaan, it's time to go!" I heard a middle-age woman shout from a distance. The other kids were also with her and were ready to go.

"Ok bye, buddy! See you next time" He said and ran.

I stayed there and looked at him exiting the park.

After a while I too sat on my car and put on my seatbelt.

'When you forgive you heal. When you let go, you grow'  I remembered what he said.

Well, technically his 'angel' said it. I chuckled and shook my head and drove to the office.
