Author's POV:
Okay...so today is mehndi and Haldi. Kriti didn't want to waste more money on both the days so she suggested to perform haldi and mehndi in the same day.
Firstly, in haldi, She was made to sit on a haldi Pot and all her family members put haldi on her hands legs and cheeks.
After the Haldi rasam, it was mehndi. Kriti quickly changed into her mehndi outfit with the help of Neha and descended to the garden area.
Her outfit
The mehndi artist arrived and started putting mehndi on her hands.
"Jiji ka naam bhi likhwa lena." Shouted Neha.
"Yaya, Whatever." Kriti replied.
After few minutes Mrs.Oberoi, Khushi and Kabir came to their house.
Her friends were dancing and relatives were being served food. Kriti greeted her just by saying a 'Hi' as the henna artist had already started her henna work.
Mrs. Oberoi sat on a chair smiling. Neha, Pihu and Isha sat on each mehndi stall to put ton mehndi.
Kabir sat on a chair which was near Kriti's mehndi stall.
"Ma'am what's the groom's name?" The henna artist asked her. It also caught Kabir's attention and he looked at her to listen to her answer.
She looked back at Kabir and immediately turned her gaze towards her hand and said..."Kabir."
When he heard his name from her mouth he felt a sense of happiness. His name sounded 'sexy' from her mouth.
It had been quiet a while that her henna was being done. As she hadn't eaten anything since morning, she felt hungry.
She called her mom and told her to bring some food. Her mom sent Aarav with food and he just kept it beside her and went to play games on his phone.
"Yaar, can't he see I have mehndi on my hand." She screamed.
"Now, how should I eat?" She started thinking.
"Umm, if you don't mind....I can help." Said Kabir and she looked at him.
"Um..no..it's fi-" She was cut by Mrs.Oberoi.
"No, it's not fine. Kabir, go feed her." She ordered and kabir obeyed her.
He took spoon full of rice near her mouth and she ate it.
"How romantic"
"Hayeee"
"Kitne pyare lag rahe hai."
"I wish I ahd a husband like this."
Such gossips were heard.
Without them knowing...Cameraman took his shot.
"People say that if the color of henna turns out to be dark..she will get immense love from her husband or love will deeper between the couple." Said an aunt.
She just smiled at her while she finished the last spoon of food.
"Let's see if your henna turns out to be dark or not. Kya pata, if you guys don't work out." She completed and Kriti rolled her eyes.
She's one of those jealous aunties
"Aunty, you don't have to worry about me. It's my life and my life needs no interference by some random aunties." She said with a fake smile and that aunty just went away with a frown look.
Kabir too chuckled hearing her reply..
"Savage wifeyyyyy" He thought.
Kabir's outfit
"Sir, aap bhi lagaiye na." said the mehndi artist.
"No,no it's fine. I don't wanna wear mehndi." He replied with a grossed out look.
"Just make something on your hand na, jeez you're so boring." Complained Kriti.
Kabir narrowed his eyeborw and said, "And how does that make me boring?"
"I mean, just apply a little, thoda lagane mein kya jata hai. Have fun in your life yaar. Life is tooooooo short to be sad and...boring." Kriti said looking at Kabir when she said 'boring.'
"Okay, lagaiye jo lagana hai." He said.
"Sir, should I write ma'am's name?" The henna artist suggested.
"Okay...i guess." He replied and Kriti smiled.
The henna artist wrote kriti's name in his hand and drew a heart around it.
"There you go." She said and he looked at his palm.
Kriti was really happy seeing her name in other person's hand for the first time and that too her husband.
"Waise, parso shaadi hai..." He said.
"I know." She replied.
"...."
"...."
Then Kriti broke the silence and said, "Don't think about it. Just go with the flow."
He just nodded.
