Izuku's POV
I sit at home, fidgeting nervously with my t-shirt. I'm at home alone with Toshi. Dadzawa and Pops are at UA mailing the letters and Eri is in daycare. What if I don't get into UA? I am Quirkless after all... Wait a minute, why am I nervous? I have nothing much to lose if I don't get in, right? I doubt Dadzawa actually has the heart (or, to be honest, skill) to prevent my from doing my vigilante work. But I can feel... something deep inside of me... a foolish, childish, forgotten dream... burning...Urgh, whatever. I'm too nervous to think about this now.

-Timeskip brought to you by Izu and Toshi nervously waiting for the letters-

The doorbell rings. Toshi stands up, wordlessly going to the door, and moments later, bringing the letters back to the coffee table. The two of us silently stare at our letters before I decide to just rip the letter open and get this done with. Toshi follows suit quickly, and we open our letters simultaneously.

Shinsou's POV
This is the moment of truth. Whether I'm going to be a hero or not. I hold my breath, opening my letter alongside Izu. Two metal disks pop out. Two holographic projections appear.

"Hitoshi Yamazawa, you have earned 32 Villain points and 36 Rescue points. Your academic portion scored 79 points. In fifth place in the practical exam, you are accepted into the hero course! Welcome to your Hero Academia!"

"Izuku Midoriya, you have earned 73 Villain points and 98 Rescue points. Your academic portion scored a full 100 points. In first place in both the academic and practical exams, you are accepted into the hero course! Welcome to your Hero Academia!"

A thick silence covers the room. Then the two of us start screaming. We're both in.

-Timeskip to the first day of school brought to you by Izu and Toshi jumping up and down like excited puppies-

"TOSHI!! WE'RE GONNA BE LATE!!!"

"THEN YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE TAKEN FOREVER TO DO YOUR TIE! AND IT'S STILL NOT DONE PROPERLY!"

"SAYS THE PERSON WHO DRANK FOUR CUPS OF COFFEE!"

"BUT I NEED MY COFFEE! AND YOU DRANK THREE CUPS YOURSELF!!" Toshi yells before he runs out of his room, and the two of us run to the train station. Luckily, we're not late.

As the two of us walk into the classroom, we instantly see that serious blue-haired guy yelling at my one and only childhood tormentor, Katsuki Bakugo aka Dandelion aka Mr. Very Angry Pomeranian. Something about the latter putting his legs on the table. Bakugo turns ever so slightly at the two of us entering, then freezes as he sees me and looks away with a 'tch'.

A few moments later, I feel an extra presence in the room as I lock eyes with the caterpillar on the floor. Of course he's planning to scare his students. It takes soo long for them to find out that he's actually there. And this is the standard? Oh my god. Dadzawa's going to be sooo harsh on them.

"It took you all, except Midoriya, eight seconds to quiet down and notice me. If you're here to socialise, then get out. This is the hero course. Time is a precious resource. You lot aren't very rational, are you?" The whole class, save me and Toshi, are shocked. Probably wondering why is there a hobo/caterpillar here.

"I'm your homeroom teacher, Shouta Aizawa. Change into your gym clothes and head out to the grounds." Dadzawa leaves, and Toshi and I take the hint, rushing to the changing rooms, with the class behind us.

I change hurriedly, not wanting anyone to see my scars, and reach the outside first. After everyone's here, Dadzawa says that we'll be doing a test of our Quirks. Some are baffled, asking about the entrance ceremony and stuff, while others seem excited and eager after a demonstration with Bakugo throwing a ball to 705.2 metres. "This'll be awesome! So fun!" I hear someone say.

"Fun... You want to be heroes and you want to have fun in this school? Society isn't "fun". Society is filled with abusers, muggers, rapers, thieves, child traffickers, villains. And people are counting on the heroes to save them. The hero course isn't fun, it's going to be torture for you all. Aizawa-sensei will explain more." I butt in. I can't stand to hear them taking light of being a hero. Do they know how hard heroes (or in my case, vigilantes) have trained to even fight against villains?

"Midoriya's right. And on that note, the person who ranks last on the test... will be deemed as without potential and expelled." Dadzawa has his sh*t-eating grin on. Ohhh, so he's going to judge us and the last person will either really get expelled or he's going to pull a rAtIoNaL dEcEpTiOn on us if all of us have potential. Everyone looks scared, and the mood turns tense.

-Timeskip brought to you by dadzawa being a caterpillar-

I got 3rd overall. Although I don't have a Quirk, I bested soo many others! In a Quirk test! Seriously? I see Yaoyorozu and Todoroki being the only ones on top of me. HAH! I beat Bakugo!

"DEKU YOU SH*TTY NERD! WHY THE F*CK ARE YOU AT UA?! YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE A F*CKING QUIRK!!" The angry Pomeranian yells as he flies towards me with explosions. Aizawa looks like he wants to stop him, but I catch his eye. He stops, knowing that sh*t's getting real.

Ohhh Bakugo's gonna get offed. He is sooo gonna get offed. I was just rereading the first few chapters of the manga to write this. I honestly don't know how Izu got soo good without a Quirk, but let's just write it off as training, experience, ingenuity, lazy writing and main character power. Yea let's just go with that. XD
