TRIGGER WARNING: Use of weaponry, mention of child trafficking

Izuku's POV (Izuku's 14yrs old.)
I'm doing well as a vigilante. It's been four years since I started this "job". I'm pretty well-known. I've helped and saved a lot of people these last 4 years. I work at night, when there are less pro-heroes. This made people dub me as Kurai, meaning "dark". (A/N: I got this from google translate, please don't hate me if this is wrong ;-;)

The heroes are always after me, trying to find out my identity and capture me. I've also made enemies on the villains' side, with many of them after my head.

But I never regretted my decision. To save without glory or greed. To be a hero in the hearts of people, even if not to the rest of this unforgiving world.

Aizawa's POV
I'm in charge of Kurai's capture. The vigilante who's been skirting the law for four years. It's annoying, but he's gained a lot of trust from the civilians.

It's once in a blue moon that we actually manage to see him. The only things we see are notes, saved victims and knocked-out villains. The notes in question change handwriting every time. No fingerprints, nothing to confirm his identity. Only clear writing of the villains' quirks, abilities etc. Either that or he messes with me.

Today is no different from any other day. I patrol from rooftop to rooftop. It's a quiet night. I look down and see a villain tied up and unconscious. There's a sticky note on the villain.

"Hey Eraser! Watch out for this villain, he tried to commit arson. He's not very agile, but he shoots fire from his hands, be careful if he wakes up! —Kurai"

I sigh. After turning in the villain to the police, I continue on my patrol route. I see another guy tied up, with a note stuck on his head.

"Eraserhead, pick up the pace! There ain't any villains for you to take down by the time you arrive! >^< —Kurai"

I sigh again, annoyed. I hate to admit it, but Kurai is doing our jobs better than we can.

Catching up to Kurai is a rare occurrence, and he escapes every time. The few times are only when Kurai helps someone and waits for the police to arrive. Then, he disappears under the cover of night. Recently though, if I approach him on the rooftops and stand a distance away, he trusts me enough to talk with me.

The detective who's assigned to his case is called Detective Tsukachi. We know next to nothing about him. All we know is that he's shorter than average, his voice is a male's about 20-30 years old, he's quick and efficient. There's barely blood spilled on either side when he fights. He doesn't use his Quirk during a fight, so we can't arrest him.

Kurai is annoying and we can never catch him, but at this point, we have to admit: he's a huge help. I just wonder who he is...

Izuku's POV
I've captured twenty-six villains by now.
Eraser is gonna be so pissed! It's always fun to play cat-and-mouse with him. He's never actually been able to catch me though. I am very good at running away.

As I'm jumping from rooftop to rooftop, my ears pick up the faint sound of a whimper. I stop at the edge of a roof and look around. I see a girl, around 6, running away from a man with a weird mask. I drop down between them.

"Hey, what're you doing to that girl? That's not nice." My voice drips with bloodlust, hoping to scare the villain away. The villain doesn't fall for it though, and looks mad as if I'm just an annoying obstacle.

"Get out of my way. Eri's mine." He growls, and charges at me. He swipes at my head, it's obvious that if he touches me then I'm doomed. I duck and grab my escrima sticks from my back and hit him, using the electronic feature to shock him. He's out cold. After I tie him up, I look at the girl.

"Are you okay?" I switch off my voice modifier in order to not scare her. She nods meekly, looking unsure whether to come near me.

"It's okay. He won't hurt you anymore. I promise." Jeez, why are there so many child traffickers nowadays. At my words, the girl presumably called Eri timidly walks towards me and clings to me. "T-thank you for saving me, mister..." My heart melts as her red eyes look at me.

Soon after notifying the police, I sense a presence. It's Eraser.

"Hey Eraser, no need to sneak. Can you take care of this girl? She was being chased by this guy." I turned on my voice modifier and nodded at the villain. Eraser looks mildly surprised that I noticed him.

"Okay, but I need you to come to the police station..." Eraser starts.

"Nope, see you! Take care of the kid!" I dart off, scaling the wall and leaving Eraser behind. He can't chase me right now because he needs to look after Eri until the police arrive.

Wow, that was a long chapter. I have no idea whether this chapter is just me rambling filler. I think it is.
