'No'.'What?' Namjoon interrogated the younger man.
'I don't want to be near that monster'.
'She got pierced by a fucking chandelier while trying to save us, you think Nine wasn't capable of killing all of us?'
Jungkook stood up.
'All you have to do is watch her', Namjoon reassured.
'Why would you bring someone-', he shook his head, 'Something like that to our home'.
Namjoon was taken aback by how much it was affecting Jungkook.
'I don't trust her yet but like I said, she's better off as a friend than an enemy'.
'But-'
Namjoon cut off his protests with an icy glare.
'It's not a request, it's an order'.

Jungkook stood on top of the rooftop and watched over the backyard of the hideout like a hawk. It was no secret that he did not like Zero. He didn't understand why everyone else had no problem with being around a mutant that could kill them at any moment. He sneered as he watched Hoseok and Taehyung happily practice their shooting as if a monster wasn't standing across them.
He was watching her as per Namjoon's orders. Waiting for just one slip-up so they can throw her out.
The gang had plans to someday live in the Golden City. He wasn't going to let anything or anyone get in the way of that.
Zero was aware that she was being watched.
Taehyung had dragged her out and was placing a gun in her hand. Hoseok's smile dimmed as he watched them.
She recoiled and it fell on the ground.
She had spent her entire childhood being on the other end of weapons. Guns in particular brought back memories of a cold snowy day when her body had been filled with more bullets than she could count.
The pain of having thousands of rounds of bullets penetrate her was ingrained in her. She had never felt as weak as she had that day.
'I've noticed that you don't like them', Taehyung bent to pick it up and dust it before placing it in her hands, 'but the bullet I shot through Nine was able to stop him', he stated.
'If you can do this then next time you won't have to fight him', he revealed.
He tried not to look at her stomach. He was still reeling from the shock of watching her get injured for the second time. He could only imagine how painful that must have been for her.
Her hands shook as she held the gun in her hand.
All she had to do was follow Hoseok's instructions and shoot the beer can. He had placed a pair of red headphones on her ears to protect them.
Her finger lingered on the trigger.
The two watched her in silent anticipation.
She squinted her eyes as she tried to aim at the can.
Her train of thought was suddenly interrupted by the rapid shuffling of feet from within the house. Followed by a series of yelps of pain.
She dropped the gun, ripped the red headphones off and raced towards the house.
She was sure she heard something crack.
The two followed her, both equally confused by her sudden departure.
