After they had walked to the end of the tunnel, they all got into the clean truck that had been parked on the side of the road. Jin and Hoseok had run up to the car and began hugging it with spread arms. Before Jin lightly pinched his ears for trying to steal his 'baby'.

Jimin was fully expecting them to be heading towards a sort of cartoonish evil lair. He did not expect them to show up at some kind of run-down city hall.

Jimin's head began to be filled with the stories that he had heard about this place. He was suddenly on edge. He was expecting to be mobbed and stripped of all his possessions.

A hand being placed on his shoulder caused him to yelp loudly.

'Chill', Taehyung smiled as he nudged him.

A group of children poured out from the mahogany doors of the large building.

They chanted 'Hobi' who he realised was Hoseok. Hoseok broke into an infectious heart-shaped smile and carried as many children as he possibly could as he ran to a field behind the building. Jimin could understand why the children liked him, for a criminal, he had a warm aura.

'Get into the building pink boy', Tae roughly held his arm to drag him.

It seemed that he wasn't the only one with trust issues. The crew watched his every move like hawks. It was useless because he had no desire to escape.

He had expected the building to be some den of sin. It seemed like people were living there. There were separate rooms for men, women, children and the injured. The people looked just as poverty-stricken as one would imagine. They were dressed in tattered clothes and complained about being hungry. What broke his heart the most was hearing the children crying from hunger.

The gang was busy bringing in supplies from the car that they had arrived in.

'Why the long face?' Yoongi's icy voice reached his ears as he plopped down on the plastic seat.

Jimin didn't respond. Given the way he was talking, this was a touchy topic.

'They live like this because of people like you', Jimin's brow furrowed, he was offended but knew that he wasn't entirely wrong.

His father was the President. He had seen enough of the corruption that occurred. His father was easily willing to work with anyone for the promise of the money they offered. He had tried to pass those traits to his son. When Jimin refused, he opted to make his life miserable so he could submit.

'Then why are you trying to get involved with my father?', a bitter laugh resounded in response.

'Touché'.

'That doesn't answer the question', Jimin tried to make his voice as cold as his.

'To survive in this cold world, you have to be okay with making deals with devils', he said in a patronising tone, the same one he used with the children. Before lying down and feigning sleep.

Jimin wasn't offended. He couldn't agree more.

When Jimin saw Zero sitting on the stair steps outside, he decided to take a leap of faith and talk to her. Yoongi seemed to have fallen asleep, so it was a golden opportunity. He cautiously approached her. She turned around immediately when she heard footsteps approaching her.

'Park Jimin, are you enjoying your stay?', she asked as if they were at a hotel.

Jimin would've made a snarky remark. However, he was distracted by how human she seemed. When he heard of the mutant that escaped he had expected to see a cold-blooded monster.

'Call me Jimin', he finally blurted out.

She nodded, repeating multiple times under her breath. He decided that he liked his name coming from her lips.

'Will the zombies come here?', he asked because he had a feeling that she would know.

'No', she pulled her black braids from her face.

He let out an inaudible sigh. He wasn't sure whether he was disappointed or relieved.

'Jimin, as long as you're with us, you're safe', he tried not to look into her eyes too long.

'Why did you guys take me?', he regretted asking because he realised that might not like the answer.

'I can't tell you', she revealed.

'You're not planning to kill me are you?'

She shook her head and he signed in relief.

'You'll be back home when we finish our plan-', she reassured him.

'Oh Zero~', a sign song voice called from within the building.

She didn't even bother to glance in the building's direction.

'I have to run', she said and dusted herself as she stood up.

Jimin stood up and gently grabbed her elbow to stop her.

'Why?', he asked in a concerned tone.

Her gaze shifted from him to the voice that was drawing closer.

'Jin is gonna make me listen to his love story for hours', she revealed.

Jimin concluded that it must be an unpleasant story if she was so desperate to run away.

He let his arm fall to his side and watched as her form ran through the grassy sunlit field.

Jin rushed past Jimin and was at her tail.

Jimin watched them running across the overgrown grass field in contemplative silence.

A lightbulb lit up in his mind. He had found his story.

He's a ten but he's literally in love with his car.

Zero was eventually caught and forced to listen to the story.
