--------

Things had been going wrong for M all morning. First, he had woken up from a particularly bad nightmare, then he had fallen out of bed. And to make matters worse, he had caught his cloak on something, and it had torn. He'd then burned his breakfast! M just didn't know what was happening to make everything go wrong for him, but it was really getting him down. He knew he had a meeting to attend today as well, with the other leaders and Light. He could only hope that it would go fine and that the rest of the day after would go better, but there was no way he could go wearing his cloak with the huge tear in it. He would have to get that fixed by the tailor...

When the meeting came around, he was one of the last to arrive, and he almost certainly had a sour look on his face, as he was asked if he was alright, to which he replied that he was just fine. Then he was questioned on where his cloak was, to which he responded that he accidentally ripped it, but was going to get it fixed, and asked for the conversation to be dropped. And so it was, but it noticeably did not stop the worried glances that kept coming. All throughout the meeting, he could feel eyes on him, which made him just feel worse. M kept his eyes focused on the table, still focusing on the meeting and speaking when it was right, and yet... he could feel his emotions all bubbling up, tears slowly forming in his eyes.

The pressure and stress of recent events and the fact his day had just gone so wrong so far were mixing together in all the wrong ways. M brought his hands up to his arms and hunched over slightly, feeling his breathing quicken. The tears filled his eyes to the point that his vision was blurred. Before he knew it, he felt a set of arms wrap around him, pulling him close. He tensed up, before noticing whoever was holding him was the colour orange...oh of course, he was sat next to the Orange Leader so he was the closest Steve in this building to him to actually...well...comfort him.

It didn't take long for him to finally crack, and then the tears started, and heart-wrenching sobs left his lips as he clung onto the Orange Leader like his life depended on it. He missed the concerned murmers of the others, as he could hear nothing through his distress, although he could feel gentle hands rubbing up and down his back, gently hushing him, as though he were a child...and while many might find that patronising...that's all he could really ask for right now.

The comfort slowly helped soothe him, and eventually, he pulled away from the Orange Leader's hold, wiping his face dry, "I'm sorry..." He mumbled, "Hey...it's okay to cry..." He heard the Violet Leader state with a soft voice. It didn't exactly take much for M to quickly be smothered by hugs. A nice comforting hug pile of all the Leaders and Light, something very much surprising, but something they all needed very much.
