5-star was officially released, all of their promo shoots and videos were all done, and the eight boys wanted to celebrate.

minho and chan decided to make their kids a nice family dinner. they even bought their favorite alcohol beverages.

the six others were in the living room where they laughed to the point where their abs hurt and sang karaoke. some even played with the balloons and party horns.

"dinner is ready!" minho called out.

the boys all rushed to the table, eyes wide and mouths hung open. they haven't seen a dinner this delicious in a long time.

"sick, our favorite drinks too!" changbin cheered. everyone laughed as they sat down.

"i would like to make a toast," their leader rose his drink, "if you wouldn't mind joining me in raising your glasses.. uh i mean your cans. i just want to show my gratitude and love to you all for doing your absolute best with everything to complete the new album. i never doubted you can do it. through all your hard work and dedication, we got it out. already making top charts." chan got a bit sentimental but took a deep breath before continuing. "so, this calls for a celebration. to stray kids!"

"to stray kids!!" the rest cheered, tapping their cans with one another and took a chug all together. hyunjin subconsciously landed his hand on felix's thigh. felix blushed, but didn't say anything.

"it's a piece of cake, cake, cake, cake, cake," an intoxicated changbin joyfully sang into the karaoke microphone. the others laughed and danced along with him.

jisung swung his butt a bit too hard and bumped into seungmin, who ended up bumping into felix. he unfortunately tripped over his own foot but hyunjin was quick to catch him in his arms, preventing the boy from falling onto the floor.

their faces were inches apart. able to hear each others heavy breathing from being scared of felix almost falling. hyunjin looked into the aussie's eyes, then to his plump lips, and back to his eyes. felix's breath hitched a bit, and both leaned in slightly. the shorter boy glanced around, no one seemed to notice the two.

felix suddenly shook his head, got out of hyunjin's grasp and sped walked towards the bathroom. the taller boy blinked a few times, confused, but ultimately followed after the blue haired boy.

felix splashed water onto his face. he wasn't sure what that was, but he liked it, he felt safe, warm and tingly in hyunjin's arms. he was just scared.

the blue haired boy opened the door, only to be met with the blond standing right outside of it. "felix.." he walked closer to the short boy, tucking a strand of hair behind his ear. felix closed his eyes and leaned into his hand. hyunjin moved his hand to under felix's chin, lifting it so he faced the taller boy.

again, he looked at felix's pouty lips. he wasn't sure if it was the alcohol, with sudden confidence he asked, "can i kiss you?"

the shorter boy simply nodded and that's all hyunjin needed to hear before he cupped felix's cheeks and pressed their lips together. it's as if fireworks went off, both boys hearts fluttered. the kiss was soft and sweet, not wanting to separate.

eventually they pulled apart, needing to breathe. felix put his hands on top of hyunjin's as he bit his lip. they both blushed a crimson, shy from what just happened. "thank you for catching me, jinnie."
