felix did everything he could to keep his stress at bay, whether it was meditating, doing pregnancy safe exercises and yoga, - which helped his back a bit but not enough compared to the ache he felt all the time- or talking to his members or family.

overall, things were going pretty smoothly and felix was now a week away from his eighth month of pregnancy, baby boy stronger than ever.

the small boy stood at the center of the living room, hands supporting his back as he looked at all of the decorations displayed for the shower.

everything decorated in soft shades of blues and browns, soft bear plushies placed in their appropriate places adding a delicate touch, bear and onesie shaped pastries along with a beautifully crafted balloon arch with a huge teddy placed at the start next to a bamboo chair accompanied by a gift table for when it was time to open gifts.

"everything looks beautiful," felix said breathlessly as he took everything in, eyes sparkling with joy.

"you look beautiful," hyunjin stood behind him, wrapping his arms around his waist, hands sprawled out on felix's swollen belly as he tucked his face on his shoulder.

felix leaned into his touch, "hm, thank you. i feel beautiful."

with the help of jisung and jeongin, felix had on light washed loose maternity jeans, a slight v-cut cream knitted cardigan and a dainty necklace to compliment his collarbones. his hair was split in the middle, and his makeup light and dewy to accentuate his glowing skin. he looked absolutely breathtaking.

"you look handsome yourself," felix turned his head slightly to look up at hyunjin, who smiled, leaning down to give him a small peck.

"thank you, angel," hyunjin was wearing light wash jeans, and a dark blue button down shirt with a silver chain and stacked bracelets to add a nice touch, "though i think you're missing one more thing."

"what do you mean?"

confused, felix took hyunjin's extended hand as he led them to the front door, letting felix open the door.

"oh my god," felix couldn't help the tears from gathering in his eyes from shock, "mom? dad? what are you guys doing here? i thought you weren't going to be able to make it?"

"we couldn't miss our grand baby's shower," felix's dad smiled as he put a hand on hyunjin's shoulder proudly, "and hyunjin here wanted to surprise you."

"it was nothing," hyunjin blushed.

"baby, look at you, you're absolutely beautiful," felix's mom gushed as she placed a hand on his belly, pulling him into a hug, eyes mirroring felix's with tears.

"i almost forgot!" felix's mom took out a sash from her purse, placing it on felix that read mommy to be, "perfect."

"thank you, mom," felix sniffled as he ran a hand on his belly, "come in!"

"your sisters will be in shortly, they're getting things from the car."

as his sisters walked in, hands full of gifts ranging in sizes, he felt a particularly strong kick, knocking the wind out of him as concerned looks went his way, "big kick, he's just excited, no need to worry."

he felt hyunjin's hand make its way onto his waist as he rubbed the spot that was just assaulted by his baby, whispering up to his boyfriend, "really, i'm ok."

hyunjin looked at him skeptically, but relaxed when felix gave his hand a gentle squeeze and a warm smile to accompany it.

the space soon filled will the rest of the members and more guests, small and intimate, and somewhere along the line hyunjin appeared to be sporting a dad to be ribbon clipped to his top. everyone went overboard with the gifts, warming the couples hearts.

as the night went on, felix's body grew more tired as the baby's kicks grew stronger, along with dull cramps he felt accumulating throughout the day and onto the night. the smaller boy brushed them off, thinking it was because he was up and about, standing on his feet for too long as he attended to his guests.

felix was talking to chan when he felt another dull cramp creeping on the underside of his belly, letting out a small gasp as he rubbed his belly.

"are you ok?" chan asked felix as he placed a hand on his shoulder, eyes scanning his face.

"i'm fine," felix smiled up at him, standing up straight, "just a small cramp, i've been up on my feet all day and since this little bub is almost out, there's less space for him. trust me, channie hyung i'm fine."

chan looked at him with a raised brow, soon breaking into a smile as he pinched felix's filled cheek, "if you say so."

felix smiled back as he excused himself to talk to the other guests, brushing off the cramps as he went on with the night.

"we need to take pictures, angel," hyunjin came up to felix as he stood with a hand on his back, drinking some fruit infused water, nodding at him.

"okay!"

the expecting couple took pictures everywhere, by the balloon arch, hyunjin standing right by felix's side as their hands met on felix's belly, both smiling big and proud.

and when it was time to open the many gifts after they passed out dessert, felix's aching feet finally got a rest as he sat on the beautiful bamboo chair, crying happy tears at every gift he opened because everything was so small and cute, so thankful for everyone getting their baby boy gifts.
