four

the eight members were getting ready to film a 'skz log' video for stay week 2023. it would be a process but they were always worth it.

a few hours have passed, and were in line to get food then head home. they were very hungry so they didn't wait to get home to eat, and instead ate in the car.

once they got home they all went into the living room. felix immediately went to the couch, not really being in the biggest social mood, but with the staff filming them, he had to put on a fake smile.

the rest of the members slowly gathered in the living room, joining felix one by one. they eventually started playing rock, paper, scissor. which normally felix would be having a blast doing, but for some reason it was overwhelming him.

the sound of hands slapping onto themselves, the guys yelling and arguing about someone counting down wrong, it was just too much for him.

he tried calm himself down. he wiped his clammy hands on his pants, ran his hands through his hair.

"hyunjin you're out!" changbin exclaimed when the tall boy lost.

hyunjin couldn't help but laugh and clap his hands loudly seeing how rowdy and competitive the guys were getting over a silly game.

but it was getting even harder for felix to stay there. he felt like he was suffocating. he cleared his throat and excused himself as he sped walked away from the rest.

hyunjin noticed and followed the smaller boy. "felix?" he called out, grabbing his wrist softly.

"n-no, don't, we'll get in trouble." felix tried pulling his wrist away from his grasp, but hyunjin didn't let go.

"felix, what's wrong?" he gently pulled felix and turned him around to face him. the taller boy's eyes widened when he saw felix's eyes filled with tears. "what's going on? talk to me. i'm here."

the shorter boy shook his head, looking at the ground. stupid tears threatened to spill. "staff will see us. i don't want to deal with them."

hyunjin lifted felix's chin gently. "they can't see us. we're not in the filming area. don't worry."

"i hate this, hyunjin. i miss you. i miss us." felix's eyes spilled with tears, breaking hyunjin's heart. "i've been feeling so a-alone. i c-can't even talk to you o-or hug you without staff looking at us like we're c-committing a crime or something. i need y-you by my side again."

his voice was shaky, he was full on sobbing. he looked down as he felt himself start hyperventilating. the tears wouldn't stop, he felt his chest heavy. "hyunjin, i-i," he started but couldn't get the words out from his unsteady breathing.

hyunjin immediately engulfed him in his arms, caressing his hair and back, trying not to panic as he saw felix in this state. "shh, it's ok, i'm here, i'm here."

"hey, is everything ok?" chan tilted his head to the side but widened his eyes when he saw felix, who looked so fragile and broken in hyunjin's arms. "oh my, what happened?!"

"i'll explain later, channie, but we're not going to be filming for the rest of the night, i'm going to take him to our room and calm him down," hyunjin bit his lip, not wanting to cry, seeing felix like this.

chan just nodded his head frantically, "yes don't even worry about that. you make sure he's ok. please call me if you need anything."

with that being said, hyunjin picked felix up and walked over to their room. the smaller boy was shaking and his legs were about to give out. he shushed and consulted him as best as he could.

he laid felix down on his bed, cuddling up next to the fragile boy. "shh," he held felix's waist with one hand and ran his hand through felix's hair with the other. he left small kisses all over his head.

felix just whimpered and held onto hyunjin tighter, not ever wanting to let him go.

"i'm here, i'm never leaving you," hyunjin whispered softly, the smaller boys crying and breathing calmed down. the taller boy started humming a tune to felix softly.

"you're my angel, angel baby, angel," he softly sang, voice barely above a whisper as he saw felix closing his eyes, breathing in a steady pace. "you're my angel, baby, baby you're my angel, angel baby."

hyunjin noticed the smaller boy was fast asleep, his face laid gently on his chest. he placed a loving kiss on the top of felix head and he felt his own eyes get heavy, "i'm never letting you go, i promise."
