"i feel so nauseous," felix mumbled tiredly, head leaned onto hyunjin's shoulder.

hyunjin looked down at his boyfriend knowing that even though he had a mask on and a cap with his sweater hood thrown over it, he was frowning. he had been so miserable these past few weeks, hyunjin didn't take much to convince the younger boy to visit the doctors office.

so there they were, sitting on the most uncomfortable, stiff, cold chairs waiting for felix's name to be called. the smell of the sterile air was making him so nauseous.

"it's ok, baby, we'll figure out what's going on soon, yeah?" hyunjin rubbed felix's smaller knuckles with his thumb, a frown hiding behind his own mask.

just his luck, felix's name was called shortly after. both got up and followed the nurse into a private room. the nurse quickly weighed felix, checked his blood pressure, and asked him a few questions.

"okay, all i need is a urine sample
from you, mr. lee and the doctor should be in here shortly," the nurse smiled after felix answered all the questions.

felix nodded his head at the nurse and he took the cup, and walked out to the restroom. once he got back, he took a deep breath and leaned his head on hyunjin's shoulder as they waited for the doctor.

"i hope they find out what's wrong with me," the smaller boy sighed.

"they will, angel, don't worry," hyunjin kissed the top of his head, taking felix's hand into his own.

there was a knock on the door before a head peeked through the slightly opened door, "hello, i'm dr. park, i'll be checking on you today."

a woman in her mid forties walked in smiling warmly at the two boys as she sat down on the swirling stool.

both boys shyly greeted her as she looked through felix's chart. "so mr. lee, i see you've been having a hard time with nausea and vomiting? fatigue?"

felix nodded, "yes. i feel so exhausted all the time. i can't hold anything down without vomiting almost right away."

dr. park looked at her computer screen as she typed in everything felix told her.

"okay, i need you to answer me a few questions," dr. park over at the two boys, both nodding their heads, "have you traveled outside of the country in the last month?"

"no."

"have you consumed any drugs or alcohol in the last month?"

"no."

"are you sexually active?"

"um, yes," the australian answered shyly as his face turned red.

"when was the last time you were active?"

"a few months ago."

the doctor looked at the two boys, "i'm going to do an ultrasound now. just to confirm."

felix looked at the doctor confused, but still followed her instructions to lie down and lift up his shirt. dr. park applied some warm gel onto his flat stomach as she pressed the transducer to his lower abdomen, moving it around until she smiled widely.
