the car ride back home was silent, except for the sniffles coming from felix.

hyunjin kept his hand intertwined with felix's, running his thumb over his to soothe the crying boy.

felix was so emotional, so confused, but he knew he couldn't continue on with the procedure. it felt so wrong. hyunjin didn't press him any further, seeing how distraught he was, just showed him his support the same way he did when the initial decision was made.

thankfully when they arrived back at the dorms no one was awake yet. neither of them wanted to be bombarded with questions or concerns, just wanting some time alone together.

felix hadn't even came to terms with his new decision to keep the baby, not over the guilt he felt.

the two took off their shoes and placed them on the rack by the front door, hyunjin locking the door in the process.

the taller boy took felix's hand in his own, leading them to their shared bedroom.

they walked in their room, felix's eyes immediately falling on the two bottles that were placed on his bedside table, staring back at him. his eyes watered at the thought of him only taking the anti nausea pills and none of the prenatal.

so they laid in bed, felix's back completely pressed against hyunjin's chest, hyunjin's arm under felix's head as the other one was draped loosely around his waist, hand intertwined with felix's. neither of them wanting any form of separation.

felix sniffled, a few tears slid to the side of his face, "i'm so sorry hyunjin."

hyunjin gently squeezed his hand, "you have nothing to apologize for, angel."

"i was just scared, you know?" felix let out a shaky breath, "i was just scared that we would get separated again, or forced to get rid of the baby.. i just got you back. i can't do this without you, hyunjin."

hyunjin's heart dropped hearing the vulnerability in felix's voice.

"i didn't mean to hurt you, or the baby. i was just so so scared and conflicted," the blue haired boy continued, "but then i saw the ultrasound today and i knew i couldn't do it. i would hold so much regret and hate for myself. and i know that you didn't want it to happen either, even if you never said it. i know you want the baby."

hyunjin's eyes teared up as he heard felix's voice get shakier as he continued talking, knowing the boy was trying to hold back tears.

"i want to do this with you," felix squeezed hyunjin's hand as he sniffled, "i don't know what's going to happen with everything, but i know i can do it with you by my side."

"you'll always have me by your side, baby," hyunjin's voice shook, "i'll protect you and our baby from anything. i won't let anything happen to any of us."

hyunjin sniffled as he finally let the tears fall, "i wouldn't trade anything in the world for you and our baby. a family with you is more than i could ever ask for. i love you so so so much, felix."

felix took their intertwined hands closer and placed them on his still flat tummy.

"i can't wait to do this with you," felix softly spoke as hyunjin nuzzled his face in the crook of his neck.

"me too baby," hyunjin inhaled felix's scent softly, "thank you for giving us a chance."
