felix sat on the couch, legs crossed as he rubbed the side of his growing belly- something he did quite often to find comfort or stress relief- while the other hand gripped his phone.

he scrolled and scrolled through endless social media comments, brows furrowed with a visible frown to match it.

"baby? what's wrong?" hyunjin worriedly asked the small boy, joining him on the couch.

"they started releasing the variety shows," felix muttered as he continued to scroll, flipping the phone towards his boyfriend, "stay are going to find out, they already noticed the weight gain in my face. there's pictures of me everywhere."

hyunjin grabbed the phone from him, scrolling through the comments, noticing the way felix's other hand automatically went to the other side of his belly, eyes closed while he took deep breaths, "bokkie, don't worry, they're not going to find out. they're praising you! saying how healthy and happy you look, and how much you're glowing!"

"hyunjinnie, they're going to piece it together when i get bigger and go on hiatus," felix looked at hyunjin with tears in his eyes, "i don't want to do that to our little boy."

"lixie," hyunjin clicked his tongue as he wrapped his arms around him, "everything is going to be fine, angel. you're in good hands, you're both going to be protected from anything."

"but what if someone sees us in public or-or something gets leaked," felix breathing picked up as he clutched onto hyunjin.

"the variety shows were filmed a while ago, way before you started showing the slightest bit. even in the recent ones we filmed you can't tell that you're pregnant. they won't know or find out anything you don't want them to know."

"i'm so worried," felix hiccuped.

"i'm here, baby, trust me, just calm down please," hyunjin rubbed felix's back soothingly as he let the smaller boy release whatever pent up emotion he had, "our bub is going to be kept safe."

felix hid his face in the crook of hyunjin's neck, trying to calm himself down when he felt a sharp pain on his lower abdomen, pulling back with a painful gasp.

hyunjin worriedly scanned felix's face as the smaller boy placed his hands on his lower belly, getting a strong kick in response, followed by another sharp pain, letting out another sound.

"felix?" hyunjin cupped his face, looking at him. 

"h-hurts," felix cradled his belly, gasping, "sharp p-pain."

that sentence alone was enough for hyunjin to spring into action. he hurriedly got up, grabbing everything they need in record time.

after carefully helping felix into the car, hyunjin made his way into the drivers seat, mentally thanking himself for finally getting his drivers license.

"we're almost there, angel, just breathe," hyunjin sent a quick, worried glance at felix, who was clutching hyunjin's hand, the other rubbing his lower belly with his face scrunched up in pain.

"please hurry, hyung," the smaller boy whimpered as he took deep breaths.

hyunjin gave felix's hand a gentle squeeze, eyes focusing on the road as he rushed towards the hospital.
