Long time No see

Her pov

My whole day went well, I spent my time with my family after so long. I'm feeling happier, I even met Aunt Payal and Anil's Uncle, and as soon as they knew that I was here, they came to visit me.
They both showered me with their hugs and kisses on my forehead. Everything was going well until Mahek opened her mouth

"Uncle, when will Ahaan is going to arrive?" She asked, I stiffened hearing his name. Can't she just shut up it's also not her fault as Mahek, Shiv & Pihu don't know what happened years ago between me and him. Only my friends and my sister Kavya know about my past and my embarrassing memories. I've only shared with them as I trust them the most. It is not like I don't trust others but I didn't feel like telling them as
this thing is so embarrassing for me that why I haven't told them about it. Plus it's not that much of a big deal they will think that it was just a minor crush but only I know how much I suffered because of this minor crush.

Uncle smiled and said " He is quite busy these days but I have already scolded him so he is trying his best to be at the wedding on time "
"This man never takes rest, I'm must say he one of the hardworking men, " my father said in an impressed tone. My father always likes Ahaan, he never misses the chance to praise him which I hate the most.
"Harsh bhaiya you are correct but this work is making him more rude and cold towards people, because of his behaviour, I am afraid to even talk to him about marriage because whenever I try to talk to him about marriage, he always disconnects the call." Payal Aunty complained while glaring at Anil's uncle.
My father & Anil's uncle's face changes into utter seriousness after hearing about his marriage. Are they hiding something? I looked at them, they were looking at each other as if they were talking through their eyes. My father & Anil's uncle are closer to each other than my Badepapa, sometimes they talk with their eyes just like how I talked with Maddie through eyes when I'm not comfortable in some situations and she becomes the backup for me.
Everyone goes silent after Payal Aunty complains about his son, seeing this tension,

My  mother smiled and said " Don't worry Payal our Ahaan is one of the handsome men, he will get the best girl who will know how to break his shell and will make him happy "
"And why are thinking like this, he is only 23 years old, he still has time to get married," my mother said easing Payal Aunty's worrisome.
My father & Anil's uncle said nothing, they both were just looking at each other doing silent conversation.
Whereas I'm feeling heaviness in my heart after hearing Mom's words, I don't know why his getting married to another girl is leaving hollowness in my heart. Oh god, why his name & anything related to him is still affecting me?
"Sanjana, he was just a silly crush, forget about him " I reminded myself & started taking more interest in what everyone was talking about.
Everyone started talking about Mahek's wedding and the decoration and clothes and jewellery etc. Only 20 days are left for her wedding.

It's a night, and we all are sleeping in one big hall type of room as whenever we get home, some days we all sleep together like we are all cousins& we do chitchat and gossip about what's going on with others' lives and the people we know from school or college.
We were chatting and after a few hours, Mahek was gone to talk to her fiancee, Pihu fell asleep, and Kavya was also on the call with her boyfriend while Shiv & Maddie were in the kitchen making noddles & I bet they were cooking something else too😉. I recalled my day, my day was good and I'm a little relieved too that Ahaan is not coming to the wedding.
"Sanjana you're forgetting something, Anil's uncle said he is busy but he is coming to the wedding " my subconscious mind mocked me.
I yawned, shut my head and fell asleep as today's day was good but tiring too.
