Her pov

I greeted the elders by touching their feet
"Always Stay happy my doll, you're looking beautiful today, "Anil's uncle said giving a blessing
"Thank you, Uncle " I smiled
"Yes, look all these men can't take their eyes off you, be careful darling " she winked at me, I shyly smiled at her.
I looked up & saw there were a few guys around my age who were eyeing me, finally those 3 hours were worth it. I looked at one guy, he was eyeing me like crazy, I was enjoying the little stares that I was getting from men but his stare was something that was making me uncomfortable, something very sinister was there in his eyes which made me squirm in discomfort. I saw my father and Anil's uncle talking to that creepy guy and the man in his 50s who I guess was his father. I noticed My father, Anil's uncle, Shiv and Ahaan everyone's shoulder was stiff when this father-son duo arrived. But something in my gut says he is not a good person. My eyes fell on Ahaan and dude he was not looking mad, he was looking MAD. His jaw was clenched, his eyes became a darker shade of brown, and his face looked like he was not happy. He is pissed, I don't know at what. I ignored him and moved towards Tanya
"Hey, girl! Where's my hug?" She said
I chuckled and hugged her tightly and asked her
"How are you doing?" Little concerned,
1 year ago, I got a call from Tanya, she was crying frantically, and I immediately knew that something was wrong. Tanya was also in New York for her job and our apartment was also nearby. So I reached her apartment and saw her hiding in a room while she was crying uncontrollably. I panicked looking at her condition as I had never been in a situation like this before, after calming myself a little, I took my steps towards her, she hurriedly looked back crying, she was looking scared when she saw me, she relaxed but still crying. I hugged her letting her calm down and asked worriedly
"What happened Tanu?"
"My boss tried to rape me but before he do something I succeeded in running. But now Sanu, he is stalking me. I am scared " she again cried and hugged me
"Tanu, we should do a police complaint " I suggested as this is a very serious situation, we can't let that asshole roam around freely.
"No Sanu, we can't in everyone's eyes, he is a very reputed person, no one is going to believe me, and everyone will blame me. We can't do anything " she struggled with her words because of crying
"Ok relax and this is not India, everyone will believe you, " I said
"No Sanu, you don't understand, it doesn't matter, if it's India or New York, in this type of matter, people blame women only "
She is right that is what I hate the most. Just because he is the boss of the big company doesn't mean he can get away with anything but Tanu is also right, we can't fight him and we can't tell anyone about this in our family. But thank god, because of Tanu's bravery, she got saved but I have to do something about stalking
"Tanu pack your bags, you're staying with me " I said
"But Ana " she doubted
"No buts, this place is not safe for you and I can't leave you alone here, you're coming with me and my roommates will understand your situation. They're my friends so don't worry " I reassured her
I took her to my apartment and Maddie was not there as she went to her cousin's place for a week in Hawaii, so Jason knew about it and he also comforted her. First Tanya was a little uncomfortable around Jason but his friendliness helped her to open up & he also became her friend. She knows he is gay and even met his boyfriend Simon. After staying for a week, she returned to India because her parents were calling her & she thought this was the best time to return home and I supported her because staying there with family is much better than staying here in fear. She told me & Jason to not tell Maddie as she didn't want to & we understand her feelings, we didn't tell Maddie about her stay & everything. Back to present
"I'm doing fine, just I still get nightmares of that day " her voice saddened
"I know but one day this will also come to an end " I tried to console her, and she smiled. After a little chitchat, it's time for a ring exchange.

Both Mahek and Rohan exchanged rings and Rohan kissed Mahek on her forehead. It was the cutest moment of the night. Both families congratulated each other. Everywhere are smiles, laughs and happiness.
"Ok guys, it's dance time " the host announced
Mahek and Rohan were doing a couple dance, in a moment Kavya came to me
"Ana there's is a very important bag I left in the car, can you please go & get that from the car," she said in a hurry
"Yeah sure"
I was in the middle of the alley, someone whisked me away to a storeroom before I shouted for help, the person behind me put his hands on my mouth. I know who is this person, I caught a whiff of his masculine cologne. I calmed down from his smell. But my heart raced because of the position we were in, his one hand on my waist, the other on my mouth. I'm getting déjà vu from this moment. After sensing that I calmed down, he removed his hands from me, I turned around and saw Ahaan standing like he just hadn't pulled me into this storeroom.
"What the hell are you doing, why did you pull me here?" I yelled
"Don't yell at me, bambina, otherwise I have ways to shut your mouth." He warned
I gulped at his words
"That's like my good girl " he praises, I don't know why I'm feeling butterflies in my stomach.
"Now answer my question, are you trying to ignore me?" He asked pulling me out of the trance
I rolled my eyes and ignored him again, this must've low blow to his ego
He holds my arms and slams me back into the wall and his arms are on either side of me
"Don't you dare to roll your eyes at me? ARE YOU TRYING TO IGNORE ME " his deep voice threatened
I rolled my eyes again and continued "Yes, what you gonna......." Before I completed my sentence, a pair of lips just smashed into my face. He crashed his lips into mine. He is kissing me furiously, first I am blank but when I feel his hands around my bare waist, I feel the sensation. I gave into the kiss and let him take over. I can't able to push him, I dunno why. His one hand on my waist and the other on my neck, he squeezed my neck and I lost it. The way he is kissing me shows how angry he is. The lust, the need to dominate, the possessiveness everything was there in that moment. He stole my first kiss. He asked for entrance but being blank, I stayed still, he pinched my waist
I moaned and he took the advantage, he put his tongue in my mouth. Now his tongue is devouring mine. After a few seconds he backed away, I was panting hard because of the harsh kiss, I would be on the floor if he had not held me. I shake my head to come to my senses
"You taste so good, bambina " he whispered in my ear, his breath a little uneven because of the kiss
I was mad, I hated how he just kissed me like that when I didn't give him my permission.
He moved back and looked at me for my reaction. I slapped him hard and yelled
"How dare you? How dare you to kiss me? You have no right to kiss me "
He was expressionless as expected, he was just standing there looking down at me. I continuously hit him on his chest and asked the same question but he didn't reply. I am in tears because I hate how easily he can control me. But this time I didn't show him that I was crying because of him. He took all the hits without saying anything but then he held my neck pulling me closer and making my breath hitch, he is towering me making him appear more powerful

"I will not hesitate to do it again if you don't stop rolling your eyes at me and talk to me in that manner," he said, his words carrying underlying threats. I shuddered at his words and he released me & left me alone banging on the storeroom door.

I managed to calm my breathing after 10-15 minutes I came out and went towards the hall where the engagement was going.
"What happened San?" Maddie asked little worried
"Ohh, it's nothing, I just hit my face on the door" I lied,
She nodded a little unsure, I smiled at her easing her worries.
"San, your lips got all busted, " she noticed
"Yes, probably the door hits hard in my lips " I tried to make up some excuse
My eyes wandered & fell on Ahaan whose whole attention was on me. Looking at him, I remembered what happened minutes ago, his lips on mine. I can still feel that kiss. He looked at me & smirked understanding what I was thinking about. I moved towards Tanya and started talking to her until I got the notification from Jason which put a smile on my face it said he was coming tomorrow. I messaged him "I'm so excited ". I was smiling at my phone and looked up to see Ahaan standing so close to me, everybody's attention was now on us. God, what he is doing now?
