His pov

After the holiday week, it's time to get back to work. It's been very busy lately as l've been constantly working on finding Michael and managing my company. I found out that the person Ana mentioned is Michael. Shekhar told me how sadistic he is. He's done things that can give you nightmares. I can't believe Ana dealt with him. The police are after him, but he is so sharp that he escapes every time. My relationship with Ana is going strong, but I still have to find Michael, as l've heard he's been roaming freely in our town. Ana is looking happy these days, and thankfully, she is eating. I'm glad she is getting better, as I don't let her skip meals. She is also spending time with her family, having forgiven her parents for forcing her into marriage.

I have been so busy lately as the market is at its peak, and the workload at the company is very high. Because of this, I often reach home late. Sometimes, Ana gets so angry that she doesn't let me Sleep with her. Other times, she forgives me, lets me sleep with her, and when she sees how tired I am, she gives me her favorite head massage before falling asleep in my arms. That's what I always want after a stressful day.
Everything is going great, but there are still some things left for me to do, and I have to do them fast. It's not safe for Ana to go out while Michael is around.
Ever since I heard he's in town, I haven't felt good about it.

I called Roy and told him everything. He is ready with his men, and I also informed my security team to be around Ana 24/7. Due to work pressure, I can't stay with her all the time, so someone has to. I have a feeling that Michael will try to do something. I have a whole report on him and how psychotic he is.
After digging into the past, I found out that Michael has a sister named Victoria. I remember that I dated Victoria for two days just to make Ana jealous, but I didn't know that Victoria was a jealous person. She knew I always had my eye on Ana, which led to both siblings bullying Ana. I already have information on Victoria too, and I'm all set for the confrontation.

Her PoV

I never knew I could be this happy. Ever since Ahaan and I talked about things, I've been feeling so free. I'm doing better and trying to mend my relationships with my family. For a whole week, Ahaan handed his company to his father to spend time with me. He used to fuck me day and night. We also talked things out and understand each other at different levels. Now he is back to work, and he's been so busy lately. I don't know why, but it's making me cranky. When I don't see him, l act like a kid. I don't know what's happening to me. I always feel like eating something, and when I eat, I feel like vomiting. God knows what's happening to me.

Today, I'm going shopping with Maddie as her engagement is coming up, and we decided to do a little shopping spree together. It's been two hours since we've been looking for a dress for her engagement.

"Ana, this showroom is too big. Let's do one thing: you look at this side of the clothes, and I'll look at that side," Maddie said, gesturing towards the other side.

I nodded at her because she was right.
We were both looking at only one side and still hadn't found anything, so it was better to split up. I was searching for a dress when I suddenly felt a presence behind me. At first, l ignored it, but then I felt someone coming closer. I looked forward and saw in a mirror that a man in a black coat, hoodie underneath, was standing behind me. I couldn't see his face as he had a long beard, wore black sunglasses, and had a hood covering his head, but I felt something was not right.

I was about to run away, but suddenly the man put his hand on my elbow, stopping me. I panicked and tried to pull away, but then he came closer and whispered in a sadistic voice, the voice that haunts me all my life, "Stop it, little bitch."

My body stilled. I didn't know what to do. Fear started creeping in, and the only thing swirling in my head was
"Run." So, I did. But before I could get far, he caught me, and I don't know what he did, but suddenly my mind got all fuzzy. I couldn't see things as they got all blurred, and after a few seconds, I fell into unconsciousness.
