Her Pov:
Wait what am I saying, I just spoke without thinking, he sounds insane, how could I possibly...
"How am I meant to trust you, you must understand my hesitance, for all, I know you are delusional, I mean you are wearing a hospital gown." His eyes become sterner, I take a moment to analyze his face, he seems normal but he hides behind this demeanor.
"What? You want proof?" he closed his eyes and sighed as if bracing himself for something. His head tilts down and his posture becomes slump.
"What are you–" I'm caught mid-sentence as I see something fall from the corner of my eye "Is that.." no that's not possible. As if in queue thousands of snowflakes fall from the sky causing a blanket of snow beneath my feet. All I can do is stare in awe, I mean it's impossible.

His Pov:
I sigh as she asks me to prove it to her, I can understand her hesitancy I guess, It's just I haven't used magic since that day, my magic will forever be linked to those memories. It's dark magic now, it's power dependent on my emotions, and it's dangerous to use, but I don't have a choice right now, as painful as it is to say I need her help.
Her eyes follow my every movement, her whole attitude is just focused on me, it's different to have so much attention on my words. I take a deep breath and think of this feeling, the feeling of being known, and having someone to listen to. As I look into her eyes, the room begins to be filled with snowflakes.
Wait, snowflakes? Why is it...I mean how could she? Snowflakes are the memory from before it went to shit. I haven't seen them in so long, I don't understand. I can feel myself becoming agitated, and my power begins to shift but as I watch her standing there, twirling around the room and reaching her hands out to catch them I feel at ease. She was so graceful, a vision really but it didn't matter, she was mortal.
I removed the illusion "So, still think I'm lying?"

Her Pov:
We made it back to my apartment, however, what should have been a 20-minute ride took 2 hours cause someone kept stopping to look at the cars and then the rest of the time was the elevator. I shake my head, smiling at his innocence.
I give him a tour of the apartment, "It's not much but it's what I have,"
"Not much, Where do you sleep, there's no room,"
"What, I was being humble, this is a pretty decent apartment!"
He looks appalled, like physically disturbed.
"You know I don't think the whole Loki name is the best thing"
"What, but that is my name Aurora,"
"I know but I have never met anyone with your name and with your lack of uh..modernism...it might draw more attention than we need,"
"Alright, what do you propose"
"Oh well, uh..how about Jason"
"No"
"What why not"
"Because Aurora I am not a child"
"You were once.." I mumbled, to which he rolled his eyes, "Alright, what do you propose,"
"How about Loptr"
"Loptr?...no"
"What why not"
"Loki that's not a name"
"It is, it's my name, in Norse mythology"
"We are trying to be discreet!"
"I am still a God, there are no Gods with a name like Jason"
"Very well, how about Aries"
"No, Aries and I were good friends, that's too wired,"
"This is too hard, nothing will work for you," I feel kind of frustrated, it's like talking to a wall.
"Aurora wait, okay whatever name you choose will be fine,"
I smile a little at his words "Alright Thomas,"
"Thomas it is" he grinned,
"Don't worry though, you'll still be Loki to me," I said as his face softened.
"Hey Aurora..." He stays silent, he seems almost nervous
"Yeah, what is it?"
He sighs "Got anything to eat," I just laugh.

Loki stares at the ingredients on the table "Wait so how is this meant to be pasta, look at his," he holds up the tomatoes, "What is this, I can't eat it like this, and the pasta is hard."
I stare utterly bewildered, what a quaint life he must of led, "Loki you have to cook the pasta and chop the tomatoes,"
He stares even more confused, "You mean you don't have cooks here?" he asks genuinely concerned for my survival.
I chuckle, "Welcome to being mortal"
"I hate it"
"Ahahah, yeah I mean you were a literal god," oh my god yeah he was a God, like this is a supernatural being, a God like the ones from books and legends. Wait, what is Loki the god of? I should've paid more attention in class.
"Aurora, you there..'
'Yeah I'm listening–"
"Really, cause you're spacing out....Aurora!"
"Sorry yeah.."
He stared at me for a moment, I dreaded making contact with those eyes, something about those eyes...
"AURORA!!"
"WHAT! Why are you yelling!"
"I'M NOT YELL-" I see his chest rising as he breathes out and brown strands of hair fall in front of him. "I am sorry, where do you go...it's just..uh... Aurora?"
"Yeah"
"...what are you doing?"
I didn't even realize I had moved his hair away, it was blocking his eyes and I just...I don't know.
"Oh sorry...I wasn't thinking."
He grabbed my hand tightly and my eyes narrowed for a moment. "Don't do that," he says sternly.
I looked at him, "Sorry I.." he looked so alone. "I'm sorry Loki." I smiled at him and reached with my other hand to untighten his grip.
