Her Pov:
I awake with a harsh ringing in my ears, and it takes me a moment for my vision to become clear. I look around my new surroundings still hazy on what had happened. I just remember feeling angry, I can't even recall what. I feel something shuffling to my right and look over to see Loki resting his head against the bed as he sits along the floor crouching over. I smile at the scene. I have found his breath to be quite comforting, his curly strands of hair so gracefully fall in front of him and slightly move with each breath. How could someone bear hurting him?
I take his hand in mine, missing this feeling of being so comfortable. I never pretend with Loki, I usually overthink so much but with him I just speak. No fear of judgment or anything.
"Loki?" I whisper gently hoping he awakes so I can see those eyes again but I think i'll still be okay in this moment with him.
"Aurora" His eyes widened and jolted up towards me, wrapping his arms around me as I fall slightly back from the sudden movement. "Loki you're kinda crushing me" I chuckle.
He immediately pulls back to check if I am harmed. "Are you okay? What happened!"
I sigh "I-i'm not sure, I can't really remember too much just this really strong feeling,"
Loki's gaze softened "This is my fault Aurora, I'm so sorry I brought you into this,"
"Loki you did nothing wrong"
"No you don't understand, If we never met, if I never fell..you wouldn't have this burden, I almost killed you"
"Loki you have completely changed my entire life, without you I would still be there in my room studying and working my life away, meeting you, I finally felt comfortable...happy.." my voice softens as I start feeling awkward saying these words out loud. Loki takes my hand again, "I'm sorry Aurora."
I place my hand hesitantly on his cheek and smile as he leans into it "Loki i'm okay, I would never regret meeting you,"
"Aurora you need to understand what has happened, it seems my powers ....they..I shared it with you somehow," I stare at him confused and bits of my memory starts flooding back to me...I have powers? The idea seems laughable. "Aurora, it's dangerous magic, not even I can control it but I don't know how to take it back yet." Loki diverts his gaze from me and stands up pacing around the room.
"Loki?" He stops in place sighing. I get up from my bed and wrap my arms around his back. "We'll figure it out, I trust you." He smiles at me "Aurora, it's going to be difficult but I think we should train to control our powers, they might be linked together so it may be easier for use to work together..." I nod my head in agreement.
His pov:
I stay there silently, only focusing on her fingers tracing the back of my palm causing a bolt of energy that fills my entire body. I sigh at the feeling, dreading the moment it will stop.
"Aurora.." I whisper as she looks up to meet my gaze, she stares at me like I am the only one on her mind, complete and utter focus. My mouth tugs upwards in a smile as I pull her towards me, embracing her in a hug and taking note of the clear juxtaposition of her warmth on my iced skin.
She hums contently and I try to record the sweet sound in my mind. "Aurora I'm sorry."
"For what Loki?" She briefly moves away from me to meet my gaze, her hands still resting on my shoulders.
"That I did this to you..?"
"What is it that you did, i'm still kind of confused on what happened to be honest,"
