Alone with you

Her Pov:

"It's okay, aurora, look I am here...I am here"

"No, you're not real, please stop, let me go,"

"I am real, Aurora look at me, I am sorry,"

He paused for a moment as I kept my gaze down, refusing to look at him knowing he will disappear or worse.

"Aurora!" he yells, " please my love I am here, you're okay, I will never let you go"

He tilted my head up, the feeling of his hand startled me, it became so unfamiliar..."L-loki?"

"Yes, it's me, I'm here..."

He kept saying those words as he carried me back, never unlinking his hand from mine.

I try to keep my eyes open, I wanted to see as much of him as possible. I fear I don't have much time..."Loki–"

"Aurora?...Aurora!"

My eyes slowly betray me and I am unable to open them. All I can hear are his cries and it pains me even more.

Thors Pov:

Loki's fingers found her pulse "you can not die! You can not leave me! It is too cruel!"

Choking on his words "Please aurora...Help me...her pulse is so weak..I can't..I,"

I don't know how to help him. His hands begin to shake as he stares at her limp body. "Thor please...I don't know what to do without her..."

My eyes begin to water at his cries, "I'm sorry Loki..."

His pov:

Looking out the window, at Asgard, I can't help but feel betrayed once more, but this time, they took her instead and this is unforgivable. If she...no...I can not bear the idea. I sigh, slumping down against the wall and landing on the floor. I try to think of anything else but my mind keeps going back to the sight of her in that cell, all beaten up and swollen eyes, she looked too scared to even go to sleep...and now...i'm afraid she will not wake up.

What was the last thing I said to her, I can not remember, what if she...if she...and I never had the chance to tell her... It's too much, I can't take this pain, this feeling of waiting.

"LOKI!" Thor comes into the room breathing heavily, he stops as he sees me and takes a moment to breathe.

"What is it! Thor I do not have the energy to-"

"She is awake...Loki she is awake."

I hadn't realized the heavy weight that has been on my shoulders until I heard. I smiled through my tears and wince and the sudden wave of emotions. I had not even noticed Thor coming to my side and resting his hand on my shoulder. "I was scared..I was..I didnt think.."

"I know brother, It's okay."

"Where is she?", trying not to notice the sharp sound of pain in my voice I try to compose myself before I see her.

"In your room, but she's still a little on edge..."

I don't wait for him to finish and rush towards her, I just need to see her, I need to hear her breath again.

Reaching out to the door I gently knock anxious to hear her voice.

"I want to be alone!"

I slowly open the door.

"Sorry love, I didn't mean to...I just wanted to see you," she has lost weight, her body has become fragile and her eyes have changed. I haven't seen her like this before. "I'll go, just let me get you something to eat."

"Wait Loki?" Oh her voice, how I missed the sound.

"Yes my love,"

"Can you stay here for a moment"

"Of course what do you need,"

"Nothing, I just want be with you,"

I walk towards her side, slowly reaching out my arms to embrace her. "I'm so sorry Aurora"

"Please Loki, I don't want to talk about it, not right now," She must have been in so much pain,   I can't begin to imagine how much more innovative their methods are since I was there. She must have been so scared. Tears fall from my face as she lays in my arms, her body is still so tense, I can't even give her the comfort she needs.

I try to stifle my cries as I stare down at her. "My sweet Aurora.."

Her pov:

I wake up suddenly, panting heavily as I look around at my surroundings. A wave of my relief as I see Loki resting beside me. He starts to stir and I scold myself for disrupting his sleep "Aurora" he murmurs, slowly opening his eyes and getting up "Are you alright, what's wrong?"

I smile at him "Nothing my love go back to sleep" I whisper. Loki furrows his eyebrows "Can you not sleep?"

"I'm fine Loki, it was just a nightmare" I smile reassuringly. Loki smirks at me "What a weak mortal you are." No. no. no. "Look at you..pathetic!"

Tears well in my eyes as I stare at him. "You're not real!"

He laughs at me " Maybe not, but we both no I don't tell lies, even in dreams"

"Stop!" I yell.

My eyes widen open as I sit up from the bed trying to forget what happened. "Aurora! What's wrong" Loki whispers. I flinch away from his touch preparing myself for another strain of attacks in my mind. "Aurora.." he whispers gently, slowly moving the hair from my face...is he real?

"Loki?" I ask scared of his response. "Aurora what's happening to you, please, you have to tell me"

I sigh and lean into his touch. He's real. "I- i don't want to talk about it..please"

Loki's hand drops slightly and he sighs down at me "Aurora I don't know how to help you, let me help you!" he whispers urgently.

"I think Titan did something to me...I get these strong visions of - " I sigh not daring to meet his gaze "- of you...sometimes you just say things, others are of you hurting me..I know it's not real, I know you would never do it but it's getting so hard to tell real and fake Loki"

I look up to see Loki's gaze soften "I feel helpless Aurora" I sigh and reach to his cup his face, "It's okay Loki, I just need time, nothing can keep me from you." Loki's eyes shot upwards as he leaned his head against mine, we stayed like this for a moment, neither of us daring to pull away.
