Her pov:
After a while with Loki he convinces me that we should probably go back to them. Reluctantly we move towards the door, taking a deep sigh. I open it and we start walking down.
"You'll be fine Aurora." he whispers. I just nod silently. I don't want to do this. Loki smiles, he can probably feel my hesitation and unwillingness to confront them again.
We walk into the room and I see Stark and Natasha talking on the side while Thors prepares tea. Loki clears his throat, alerting the room, immediately I see Stark on edge and diverts his gaze from me. I walk up to him cautiously "Listen Stark...I shouldn't of shown you that,"
He shakes his head "No its okay, I didn't know you went through that...I..I don't think I could of survived that."
"Yeahh ahh probably" I smirk.
"And about you and Loki, I still dont think its wise for you guys to stay here long"
"What! You still don't trust us!"
"Its not that! Your an asset as much of a threat! If someone like Titan came back and manipulated you we wouldn't have a chance!"
I sigh "Were more powerful now though, no one could possibly -"
"I know, but I can't take the risk."
"Thats ridiculous!"Loki steps by my side, I think he felt I was getting agitated. "I understand Stark". Does he understand? "What if I gave you a sort of contingency"
Starks brows furrow in intrigue "What kind of contingency"
"There's something that could stop us no matter what, in return you allow us to stay in this world for however long we please"Stark considers for a second but Thor interrupts "Wait..are you talking about what I think it is?"
Loki nods slightly "It's fine Thor '' What are they talking about. I've never heard of something like this.
"Alright Loki, I agree to your terms."
Loki places his hand on my back 'It's alright Aurora, i'll explain it soon' he says in our link.
I roll my eyes, everyone seems to be making decisions for me, about me! I cross my arms over as a sign of frustration, unnecessarily as I know Loki knows I wasn't too happy about how this is playing out. I sigh "Okay, whatever, as long as me and Loki can continue our life here then I don't even care."
Loki smiles and I feel his sense of admiration for me, immediately I melt slightly as he stares down at me.
Thor clasps his hands together "Alrighty! Shall we go eat now!". Murmurs of agreement follow his statement and they all leave the room leaving just me and Loki.
"Aurora..." he whispers. I shake my head at him and walk away towards the window, I crouch down with my back still facing away from him. It's not long before I hear him walk towards me and place himself beside me, still keeping a weary distance. I avoid eye contact trying to let him know of my anger, in return he gently looks towards me waiting for me to talk. I sigh, unbearing to keep this tense silence, I look over to him and meet his green pleading eyes.
"I'm sorry Aurora" he gently says. The corners of my mouth twitch upwards but I try to fight it, "I'm still mad at you" I huff. Loki smiles at me, and it becomes contagious that I smile back towards him. Knowing it's pointless I drop my facade, sighing dramatically as I fall down with my head resting in his lap. I close my eyes as Loki runs his fingers through my hair.
"Aurora, this contingency thing, it won't hurt you alright. It's the only solution I could find but even so they will never use it. I don't plan on letting anyone take you again." I open my eyes to meet his gaze and smile gently at him. "You've changed so much Loki"
"Have I?" he questions.
"In a good way, you were kinda arrogant when I first met you" I laugh
Loki fakes offense and lets out an exasperated gasp.
I chuckle "Yeah remember you were all ew mortals and I'm a god!" I say trying to mimic his voice.
Loki lets out a breathy deep chuckle and we stay like this for a while. I sigh, "This is nice."
He nods his head "I wish we didn't have to end this."
A frown befalls my lips "Why can't we, lets just make this our life, here on this little balcony!"
He chuckles, "You'd get bored of me."
"I would never!"
He shakes his head "Come on, lets go make an appearance before we're presumed dead."

His pov:
I have left Aurora with Natasha as she got dragged into going shopping with her, proclaiming she couldn't just wear my shirts all day. I sit here alone now and all I can feel is the empty space beside me. Thor makes his way over to me sitting down in front of me.
"Brother! I have news!"
I rolled my eyes at him, last time he said this it was because he found out about pop tarts. "What news is it now?"
"Well as you know it's almost time for the coronation and father has made a decision." I sigh already knowing where this is going. Thor is to be King and I to be nothing once more. He smiles widely "Brother, you are to be King, the rightful heir to the throne!" he yelps. What. What did he mean? "Is this a trick brother? If it is, it's not amusing" I proclaim getting up from my seat.
"No! It is true brother! I have just spoken with my father now!"
I stare at him bewildered "Why would he want me...He said I would never be-"
"I have reported your growth here and made the suggestion, mother convinced a little but ultimately he made the choice"
"Me...king?" I whisper as if untrue. I can not fathom the idea.
Thor smiles "Yes brother! Here I shall bring us drinks to celebrate!" he yells over his shoulder and he jumps towards the door happily. I'm shocked to see his state after the news. He was going to be King, they all set it up for him. For me to...that's all I ever wanted yet I still doubt it. And what about Aurora! Her life is here..we would have to go back to Asgard! Would she want that? I couldn't do that to her.
I am left in my thoughts when the glass shatters beside me. A large ringing sound pierces through my ears as I am met face to face with Aries. My heart drops as I anticipate what is to come.
Her Pov:
Natasha and I walk back into Starks building, still laughing over the stories she told me about the Avengers.
"You know I could train with you if you'd like," She says. I smile immediately.
"Yeah that would be great" Ow. Oh my god! I clutch my stomach and let out a piercing cry.
"Aurora, what's wrong." Tears stream down my face and a wave of pain fills every inch of my body. It hurts. Ow it hurts.
"Make it stop, ow please -" I scream, "what's happening?" Realization soon befalls me as I feel it's not my pain...It's Loki. A now mixture of pain and fear leaves me huddled on the ground unable to move. I try to contact him, 'Loki! Loki, what's wrong!'
He's not answering! What's happening to him!
I let out another scream before complete darkness surrounds me, my only remaining memory of my head hitting the floor.
