minho was confused.

"your mom? I thought you told me she died a month after your parents divorced?"

jisung just sighed.
"not really."

he sat up and he buried his head in his hands.

"she didn't die...she just....didn't do nice things and I didn't want to have anything to do with her, so I told myself she's dead."

jisungs eyes started tearing up.
he wanted to forget those memories.

minho just looked at him, feeling sorry.
he didn't understand why such a pure soul had to go trough something so terrible.

jisung was getting anxious, and his leg was shaking.
minho noticed it, and he put a hand on his leg to stop it from shaking.

"are you....okay? do you want me to...stay here tonight?" minho asked.

jisung looked at him, he wasn't sure what to answer.

I mean, he hated minho, but at the same time....
...he was scared, and he knew minho was the only one who can calm him down and keep him safe.

"p-please...." jisung said

"what?"

"please stay..."

minho took jisung into his embrace, and jisung buried his head inside minhos neck, silently crying.

minho gently caressed his back.

"shhh, it's okay. I'm here."

after a while, jisung fell asleep inside minhos arms.

"jisungie, are you sleeping?" minho looked at jisung, who was in fact, sleeping in his arms, his cheeks wet from the tears.

minho sadly smiled at the sight and he picked him up bridal style, carrying him in his bed.

he carefully laid him down and put a blanket over him, tugging him in.

he gently kissed his forehead and smiled at the sleeping squirrel beneath him.

he then got up and he left the room, leaving the door opened, in case jisung woke up, or he had a nightmare.

also, minho didn't want to sleep in the same bed as jisung, because he knew that jisung would be uncomfortable.

he laid on the couch, sighing.

he just looked at the ceiling, thinking about what hyunjin said.

maybe he could have done it differently.
maybe he could have saved jisung the heartbreak
maybe he could have saved himself the heartbreak.

he fell asleep, thinking.

jisung didn't get a peaceful sleep.
he had the same nightmare as he had almost every single day.

"p-please, please stop. I will do anything."

minho woke up, hearing Han crying and screaming.

"stop, stop, stop, STOP!"

minho immediately got up and ran to jisungs room. he shook him by his shoulders.

"JISUNG WAKE UP!"

jisung woke up with a scream and started sobbing.

"what is wrong with me?" jisung sobbed

"shhh, nothing is wrong with you, okay baby? it was just a bad dream, nothing happened, you're not hurt, I'm here, okay?" minho held jisung in his embrace.

he couldn't explain it, but he felt safe and secured in minhos arms.
jisung continued sobbing.

"should I sleep next to you?" minho asked

jisung just nodded, still sobbing on minhos shoulder.

minho held jisung close as he laid down.
jisung snuggled up to minho and buried his head in minhos neck.
minho put his arms around jisung protectively.

he caressed jisungs back as he sang him his favorite song.

jisung felt safe, like no one could ever hurt him.
minho was like his shield.

and minho was sure he would protect jisung at all cost.
