"dude, what is wrong with you?"
hyunjin asked minho.
hyunjin, Felix and minho were in small restaurant near jyp building for lunch, but minho looked like he was really deep in his thoughts.
he wasn't even speaking to Felix and hyunjin.
"what?"
minho said, getting out of his trance.
"what's wrong bro? you look like you have a lot on your mind. are you okay?"
hyunjin asked, a little concerned.
"yeah, it's just that......jisung brought up this one idea that can't leave my mind."
"what happened?" Felix asked, curious.
"well..."
minho sighed.
"he brought up the idea of adopting a baby."
"what?! oh my god, I'm so happy for you! will you adopt a girl, or boy? and do you have any names?"
Felix asked, super excited about the idea of his kids having a friend.
"well, that's the thing tho. I don't think it's the best time to adopt." minho said.
"why not?" hyunjin asked.
"dude, I'm coming home super late like every day, so I wouldn't be able to help with the baby at all. I would miss so much of the important stuff, and I don't want all the stress to fall on jisung, I would hate myself if that happened."
"I mean, it's true that it would be difficult, but hey, how about you asked jyp about your schedule? I mean, we told him about our situation and he agreed to repair our schedules, so that at least one of us can be home with mieun. he's actually happy for us, he just doesn't people to find out. try and ask him about this situation."
"but hyunjin, he already helped you guys, do you think he will be able to help me out too? I mean, can he afford that?"
"I mean, I think it's his job to protect his idols and help them, even tho he's not exactly good at it. I would ask him about it. you can at least try to." hyunjin said.
"do you even want to adopt a kid with jisung?"
Felix asked.
"of course I do, I couldn't sleep at all last night. I was trying to figure out how to manage this situation. I would love to become a dad, but what about my job?"
hyunjin and Felix smiled at Minho.
"just try and ask him minho. I can really see that you want this."
minho smiled back and nodded.
"thank you guys. by the way, who's with mieun now?"
"oh, my sister. she came to Korea few days ago and she volunteered to look out after mieun when we're at work. we weren't sure if jyp would allow us to repair our schedule."
Felix said
minho nodded, signaling that he understood.
after the three boys finished their food, they made their way back to the JYP Entertainment.
"don't worry minho, it will go smoothly and I'm sure he will be fine with you working less."
Felix gave a reassuring smile to minho, before the three boys parted ways.
minho stood in front of jyp's office.
was he scared?
yes, definitely.
there was still a chance that jyp wouldn't support him and his decision and he would fire him.
but, he helped Felix and hyunjin.
so, why wouldn't he help him too, right?
he took a deep breath and knocked on the door.
"come in!"
minho sighed and opened the door.
"oh, minho! what do you need?"
"well....i wanted to ask about something."
"sure, go ahead."
jyp said and closed a file he was looking at.
"uhm...do you remember about that situation about <sorry, I love you>?"
"you mean when everyone was speculating if you had a partner and who it was?"
jyp asked.
"yeah, that....well, I confirmed that I had one, right?"
jyp nodded.
"well, there's this thing. me and my partner were talking about adopting a baby, but with my schedule, it seems really impossible to do that. can I....maybe take a little break? or just work a little less? I really want to be a dad, and I want to start a family with my partner. would that be possible?"
minho asked, anxiously waiting for an answer.
jyp sighed.
"minho, I'm not exactly happy about this. I mean, you're on top of the charts right now, and it would be such a shame to take a break now, or start working less, but at the same time, your safety and your happiness should be my priority. I'm not really happy about it, but it's your choice. I will cancel your schedule for a month, and then I will repair your schedule, so that you have more time to spend with your family."
minho looked at him, happiness filling his eyes.
"really?"
jyp nodded.
"as I said, I'm not exactly happy about it, but I can do as much."
minho smiled and bowed.
"thank you so much pd-nim, thank you so much."
he said and left the office.
for the rest of the day, Minho was smiling from ear to ear, so excited to go home and share this news with his husband.
when the time finally came, minho practically sped home, and after he parked his car in his garage, he happily went inside.
"sungs! I'm home!"
minho yelled.
jisungs walked inside the hallway from the living room.
"hi min, what are you so smiley about?"
he said, smiling when he saw how happy his husband looked.
"jisung....how about we adopted a baby? like, right now."
jisung looked at him confused.
"what do you mean?"
"I talked to jyp today, and he agreed that he will repair my schedule so that I could be home more, and he even gave me a month long break. do you know what that means?"
Minho asked, excited.
"that we...."
"can adopt a baby!"
