Albus Dumbledore cleared his throat, and all eyes turned to look at him. "As you all know, a prophecy was discovered early this morning. A prophecy that concerns us all."

Curious whispers filled the room as everyone eagerly awaited the news. Albus waited patiently until everyone was quiet before continuing. "I will read the prophecy so that you may all hear it, but I ask that you wait until I am done before you ask any questions." He took a piece of parchment out of his robes, which had the words to the prophecy written on it. He cleared his throat once again before beginning.

"The final battle is not what it seems.

What was thought to be over will occur once more.

Innocent lives lost will one day return, but with them, evil will follow.

Dark times will return when least expected.

The true battle will begin."

There was a brief moment of silence as everyone took in the words that Dumbledore had spoken, and then everyone started talking at once.

"Not what it seems?" Fred asked. "What is that supposed to mean?"

"Another battle?" Neville asked, as if he had heard wrong.

"Evil will follow?" Molly gasped. "Does that mean..."

"Is Voldemort back?" Dean interrupted.

"THIS IS AN OUTRAGE." Hagrid roared. "THIS IS A SCANDAL."

There were several nods of agreement throughout the room, and suddenly everyone was shouting.

"If everyone would just calm down." Harry said, trying to silence the room. "If we all could just..."

"SHUT IT!" Ginny shouted. The room immediately quieted down.

"Thank you, Mrs. Potter." Albus smiled. "Now I understand that this comes as a shock."

"No shit," Seamus muttered.

"But I need you all to remain calm."

Looking around the room, Harry could tell that everyone was anything but calm. Molly had both hands over her mouth as silent tears made their way down her cheeks. Arthur had his arm around her and was rubbing soothing circles over her back. Although he appeared to be holding it together well enough, Harry knew that it was all an act. Deep down, he was just as worried as everybody else.

Hermione stared straight ahead, her eyes red and puffy. Ron held her close to his side, as if she might be ripped away from him at any moment. A feeling that Harry could easily relate to, as he felt the same about Ginny. The two brothers shared a worried look, neither of them having the words to say.

Sirius, in Harry's opinion, seemed to age a few years. The haunted look in his eyes had returned. The look could only be caused by the horrors of war.

Even Luna, who had always had an upbeat personality, looked deeply troubled.

Yes, everyone had briefly been told about the prophecy prior to the start of the meeting, but hearing the words out loud seemed to make everything so much more real.

"I understand that this news is deeply troubling." Said Albus. "But if we wish to have any hope of winning the upcoming war, we must keep a clear mind. We must..."

The door to the kitchen suddenly flew open with such force that everyone, including Dumbledore, jumped. Half the room pulled out their wands, ready to defend themselves if need be.

"Wotcher!" A familiar voice said. "Long time, no see."

Tonks walked into the kitchen as if her appearance was the most normal thing in the world. Her hair was its typical bubblegum pink, and she looked just as she had the last time Harry had seen her.
